The Countdown To NFL Football

Every weekend in Fall, I look forward to one thing: football. Every Sunday, I can expect a day full of it. For the past few months, I’ve struggled without my weekly dose. But now it’s back. Football is back.

It’s been a long off season, and big off season moves went along with it. For instance, Ndamukong Suh joined my home team, the Miami Dolphins. With so many changes, how could football fans not be excited that NFL football is back? The preseason has only been a tease, but the season is fast approaching. Predictions are out, the preseason is coming to a close, and it’s almost show time.

Personally, I’m thrilled. Not only that football is back but that my Miami Dolphins are back too. Every fan has a team and they root endlessly for them. The Dolphins have been in a bit of a funk as of late, but the future looks bright. The preseason has showcased the ability of the team this year, but more than that the preseason showcases other teams' talents as well.

As a football fan, I enjoy simply watching the game. I have a team, and of course I root for them, but I truly enjoy watching the games. Every Sunday, I know that my couch is my friend; watching games and watching my computer. With the return of football comes the return of fantasy football. Watching every game helps me keep up with the team and we all know just how competitive fantasy football can be.

The schedules match ups are incredible this year. For example, the first two picks in this year’s draft are going head-to-head week one as the Titans take on the Buccaneers. I know that every Sunday I can count on some great games, watching great players make great plays. Football is back, and I can tell you with certainty that I’m counting down for it.

The preseason has been a reminder of why I am excited for the return of football, but enough is enough. Fantasy football doesn’t count the preseason. People have been keeping up with football news for the sake of seeing how their teams will play out in both their fantasy and their personal favorite team. Now the drafts are almost over, and I’m ready for the season to begin. In a few short weeks, the season’s back. It’s been a lot of talk and a lot of moves, but this is what fans live for.

With the season coming back, I have a lot to be excited for. My Sundays are back, and for that, I could not be more grateful. Personally, I’m hoping my Dolphins make it far this year, as they've been predicted to make the playoffs, but only time will tell. I think I speak for every football fan when I say that September 10th could not come nearly fast enough.

Make sure to take it all in this season because we all know how fast it blows by.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
