Disney fans: We come in all ages and from different places. But, there are a few truths we can all agree upon, no matter how old we are or where we are from.

1. You know the jokes on Jungle Cruise by heart, but that doesn't make them any less funny.

"The...BACKSIDE OF WAAAATER" gets me every time.

2. Dole Whips are a must, even if it's wintertime.

3. When you feel like you need a Fastpass for the Fastpass+Kiosk (Disney World)

Seriously, the kiosks can get more crowded than the rides.

4. When you're riding the Matterhorn (Disneyland) and it comes off the tracks...again.

"Better hop back in line before they notice and have to close it!" --Me, on more than one occasion.

5. They cancel your favorite parade due to inclement weather, but you're still going to try and enjoy yourself.

6. That feeling when you get stuck on Haunted Mansion (which happens A LOT).

"I think I just became the 1,000th haunt, guys."

7. Eating your weight in any Disney treat, or several of them, and still being able to run across the park

8. When a character waves at you from a parade float.

9. Singing along with "Let it Go" anytime you hear it in the parks (whether you like the song or not).

10. "Can we wait for the front?" (Disney tip: the cast members will always let you, you just have to ask!)

11. When it's finally your turn to meet your favorite character and you forget how to speak.

12. How it feels when one of the princesses compliments you:

13. You know how to have fun in the 3D attractions.

14. Spending way too much money on the pins like:

If you don't have a pin collection yet...I mean, are you really a Disney fan? (Totally kidding, but you should try the pins. Trading is so much fun.)

15. You know slow days are the best because you have time to enjoy things like the Mark Twain Riverboat.

16. Thanks to Wishes and Fantasmic, you are forever ruined for fireworks shows.

17. That being said, just being a Disney fan has ruined you for all other theme parks ever.

I couldn't find a picture to show this feeling, but I do have a story! One time, I spent three days at Disneyland and went to Universal soon after. I wasn't there for five minutes, and I stepped in gum. Disney takes better care of us than we know, guys. (They don't sell gum).

18. Your favorite photos are the ones taken on the rides.

19. When your car wins the race on Radiator Springs Racers (Disneyland).

If you haven't made it out to Disneyland, the Cars ride is totally worth it. So is the Indiana Jones ride!

20. The thought of being at Disney for 24 hours scares most, but you are fearless. This kind of thing only happens once a year, after all!

If you haven't done 24-hour day at Disney yet, I highly recommend it. It happens at Magic Kingdom AND at Disneyland. It's wonderful, and there's no rush because you have plenty of time to do everything!

21. You aren't the only one who knows how much you love Disney. Everyone around you knows, and you're the unspoken "authority."

You know everything there is to know (or close to it). You're the seasoned expert, the vision. Kinda like Edna Mode.

22. But, that doesn't mean you're stuck up! You'll talk to anyone about anything Disney-related.

All they have to do is ask, or you know, even slightly look like they want to hear you gush for five hours about the happiest thing on earth.

23. There is one song that is the true anthem of Disney fans (aside from "When You Wish Upon a Star," of course), and you know all the words to this one. And the moves!

"LET'S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS! To defeat...THE HUNSSS."

24. You have lots of Disney bling. Lots of it.

Disney Alex and Ani.

Disney watch.

25. You wish it was OK to wear these little beauties (Thank you, Soarin') everywhere.

26. You still get warm and fuzzy when you see this play before a movie.

(or the updated one!)

I know, I know. Makes you want to go to the parks or sit down and watch some of the movies asap. So is the life of a Disney fan!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
