OK, with the democratic media firing shots at Trump left and right, it is easy for someone with little political knowledge to get swept up in the "Anti-Trump" drama. But as we have continuously seen with the Primary elections that have already taken place, Trump has dominated these votes. With that being said I have continuously seen questions thrown around such as: "Who is actually voting for Trump?"; "Why on earth would someone vote for this guy?"; and "They don't seriously think he can win the candidacy, do they?" Well, to answer those questions up front and honestly, people are voting for Donald Trump because they love The United States of America, and it is breaking their hearts to watch it get destroyed. So, why are people voting for the billionaire? Here is why.
1. He loves America.
Just like the American citizens that are voting for him, he fell in love with this country and never looked back. Donald Trump once said "As a Christian, I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter." He is living proof that you can make yourself into something great with the right connections and knowledge, and people eat that up. He has stated that the American Dream is dead, but with him as president he can change that. Donald Trump spends his own money to run his campaign, which actually shows how dedicated he is to "Make America Great Again." He believes that our country can be rebuilt to the best in the world which we once were, and he is spending his own hard earned dollars to do that.
2. He has the Republican Latino vote.
The CNN entrance polls in Nevada had Kasich with four percent, Cruz with 18, Rubio with 29, and Trump with a whopping 44 percent of Latino republican's votes. Why is it that these Latino people are voting for him after he has bashed illegal immigrants? It's just that. He bashed illegal immigrants. These voters have came into this country the legal way (hence their right to vote) and they see that there is a problem with our immigration system. These Latino voters also recognize that Donald Trump is going to build jobs, which in states like Nevada will be given to mostly Latinos. But most importantly, these Latino Americans are fiercely proud Americans who identify as Latino. They love their home just as much as Donald Trump does.
3. He is successful.
Nobody want's a leader who has never done anything important in his life. Donald Trump is a billionaire with an extreme amount of success. He has made global connections, and close friends throughout the entire world. He has built a successful business from the bottom up, which means he can do the same with America. Which is where we are headed... rock bottom.
4. He is not an ordinary politician.
Alright, he doesn't have much of a filter. But personally, I think it is fantastic, and so do the rest of his voters. When he speaks to America, he doesn't try to dumb things down for the population, or try to keep us in a little fantasy bubble about what he is going to do for us. Cough, cough, Obama and his "change." He gives us the straight facts on what he plans to do if he is elected. We need that in a president. The last thing that America can handle right now is another leader who's key character trait is liar, cough, cough, Hilary.
5. He is pro-women.
Majority of Republican women have Trump's back, and he has their vote. Why? He treats us like equals. He is literally a feminist's dream leader. All I hear from feminists is how they want equality in society, and to be treated as a man would. He proved his views about women when he had his spat with Megyn Kelly. On his show "The Apprentice," women were treated fairly based on their skills demonstrated. While there are mostly male winners, the business world is mostly dominated by males. He understands that, which is why he would never give a woman a job just because she is a woman. (Literally the reason so many women are voting for Hilary, because she is a woman with zero knowledge of her political ideology.) He wants the best of the best, regardless of their gender.
6. Diplomacy.
As I mentioned before, Donald Trump has close friends and connections all over the world. Aside from these connections, he has great communication skills while also being an expert negotiator. Anyone with his resume has to be a serious negotiator, but in the process he gets what he wants. He has stated repeatedly that he wants to have a face to face conversation with Vladimir Putin, and an in person conversation with China's leaders. He isn't going to be the president who plays golf in Hawaii for no good reason, while having the people under him send message relays to staff in other countries.
7. The first family would be amazing.
He has very successful children, and a beautiful wife. Melania Trump would be a wonderful first lady. She is a jewelry and watch designer, and a former model. One of the great things about her as a first lady, she was born in Slovenia, but became a citizen in 2006. With her background of living in another country, she will have the greatest ideas for how to make foreign diplomats and leaders comfortable in their home. Also, she is a designer. Seriously, she's a cookie cutter first lady.
8. He's a man of great morals.
A Christian, an American, a businessman, a husband, a father, and a grandfather. He has never drank alcohol, or smoked in his life. He has repeatedly talked about how we need to take care of the people in our country who cannot take care of themselves. His success does not put blinders on his eyes. He sees that there are people struggling, and he wants to help. The majority of the middle class lives paycheck to paycheck trying to make ends meet for their family. He understands that, and he wants to help.
Hopefully this clears things up for any of y'all skeptical about why Trump was getting so many votes. Feel free to agree or disagree, but these are the opinions of Republican voters who are well on their way to making this man the next Republican candidate.
