Michael Scott's words of wisdom will help you transition back to school with a smile on your face.
No one says it better.
1. Concerning tuition: “Mo’ money, mo’ problems.”
2. First day of class: “It’s never too early for ice cream.”
3. For morning classes: “I like waking up to the smell of bacon, sue me.”
4. Remember this about freshmen: “We’re all homos. Homo sapiens.”
5. What to talk about with new friends in class: “Friends joke with one another. Hey, you’re poor. Hey, your momma’s dead. That’s what friends do.”
6. On presentations: “Wow, all these charts and graphs. Someone’s been doing their homework…looks like USA Today.”
7. Participating in class: “Sometimes I’ll start a sentence and I don’t even know where it’s going. I just hope I find it along the way.”
8. Your fresh outlook: “Would I rather be feared or loved? Easy. Both. I want people to be afraid of how much they love me.”
9. Business students: “Another rule of business is being able to adapt to different situations. Adapt, react, readapt, apt. Alright? That’s rule number two.”
10. On leadership: “The word ‘ship’ is hidden inside the word ‘leadership’ as its derivation.”
11. Trying to contact a professor: “Well, just tell him to call me ASAP as possible.”
12. Going out every night: “Do you think that doing alcohol is cool?”
13. After eating one too many pizzas: “It’s a pimple, Phyllis. Avril Lavigne gets them all the time, and she rocks harder than anyone alive.”
14. When completing research: “Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject. So you know you are getting the best possible information.”
15. When your professor gives you an unfair grade: “You know what they say. ‘Fool me once, strike one, but fool me twice…strike three.”
16. TGIF: “You just gots to get your freak on.”
17. Fraternity bathroom: “Crazy world, lotta smells.”
18. And always keep in mind: “When I was Ryan’s age, I worked in a fast food restaurant to save up money for school. And then I lost it in a pyramid scheme, but I learned more about business right then and there, than business school would ever teach me or Ryan would ever teach me.”
