Seven Deadly Sins You Were Guilty Of This Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is that wonderful time of the year where we all spend with family and give thanks for everything we have. But, even the best of us fall prey to the seven deadly sins on this glorious food-filled day.

Envy

When you and your grumbling stomach see your friends' Instagram posts and Snapchat stories of plates full of food but your family is still busy cooking with hours to go. (Props to you if you can actually pull off the meal by 12:00 P.M.).

Wrath

When you're the 14th family member in line for the gravy and your brother gets to it first and polishes it off right before you have a chance to get any. Siblings can be so frustrating.

Lust

When you keep eyeing that hot friend across the table who your cousin brought for Thanksgiving dinner. Yum...

Greed

When you eat far more than your fair share of mashed potatoes and turkey.... and... the stuffing, green beans, rolls, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie...

Pride

When the pumpkin pie you made from scratch and brought to the family dinner is everyone’s favorite by far. First prize!

Gluttony

When you eat enough food to last you through the winter, but you still continue to eat the last three pieces of pumpkin pie.

Sloth

When you immediately make your way to the couch after eating dinner. You want nothing more than to lie down and sleep in a food coma.

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
