There’s really no better time to visit one of the most naturally beautiful countries in the world, and here’s why Brazil is your best bet!

1. The weather

If you dread the cold and wish it could be summer year round, good news! It’s summer in the Southern Hemisphere. Even Santa Claus is in his swim trunks!

2. The prices

Brazil’s economy is slumping and the value of the real estate is at an all time low; bad for them, but good for us. Anyone looking to do some traveling this winter should definitely take advantage of this opportunity before prices go up again during the 2016 Summer Olympics.

3. The people

I promise I’m not just being biased because I’m half-Brazilian; these people make up some of the warmest and most genuine you’ll ever meet!

4. Nightlife and Carnaval

This annual week of festivities celebrated throughout the country marks the beginning of Lent. Carnaval is not only the most famous holiday in Brazil, but has become an event of huge proportions as tourists from all over the world flock to the country (especially Rio de Janeiro where the largest parade is held) in February. Outrageous costumes, and dancing in the streets from dusk 'til dawn -- it’s always a party in Brazil.

5. Powdery white sand

Kept warm year-round from the glistening sun, and soft as it seeps in between your toes.

The brilliant sand dunes of Lençóis Maranhenses National Park.

6. Crack open a coconut on the beach and immerse yourself in the crystal clear blue water. All day.

Every day.

7. Scuba diving in Fernando de Noronha Islands

Admire this picturesque paradise on land.

And underwater.

8. Surf City -- Florianópolis (Santa Catarina, in the South region of Brazil)

9. The Food

A traditional Brazilian dish consists of rice, beans, farofa (a manioc flour mixture similar to bread crumbs), fried plantains and all types of meat!

10. The exotic fruits

This includes Açaí, Cajú, passion fruit, and jabuticaba.

11. Brazilian coffee

Smooth, nutty and not too acidic. Over a third of the world's coffee is produced in Brazil.

12. The Amazon rainforest

Take a guided tour through the waterways of the rainforest boarded by lush green vegetation.

13. The wildlife

The Amazon is also home to a range of wildlife species:

Jaguars

Finger monkeys (pygmy marmoset)

Sloths

Birds

You name it.

13. The music

Dances like samba, lambada, and capoeira have added breath to the dynamics of Brazilian culture for years.

14. The diversity

Brazil’s population is immensely diverse, comprised of many races and ethnic groups including African, European, Arabic, and Japanese.

15. The epicness of this one photo

Need I say more? Make sure your next vacation is to Brazil!

I've been at this college thing for almost three and a half years, and while I thought that high school was truly the lowest point of my existence, I'm beginning to realize that it was a walk in the park. Like, I miss the days when the biggest white lie I told my parents was my made up excuse about being late for fourth period. These days, the white lies are a tad more complex, and as ashamed as I am to admit it, I've definitely told a few of these.

NBC Universal

As most of us already know, Friends is one of the greatest television series ever produced. The cast is genius. The humor never gets old. The episodes are relatable and timeless.

I can easily say that I have watched each season at least three times and I belly laugh harder every time. All Friends fans can agree that there are certain lines that form a bond between us and when heard one cannot help but laugh.

Some Life

The infamous RBF is something I have and am known for. It’s kind of exhausting to be asked if you're okay all the time or being told to smile more. Girls with RBF get judged to be mean and rude much quicker than the girl who is always smiling. It’s true and just plain natural for someone who is generally smiling all the time to come off as more trustworthy and I've gotten used to it. I used to think that having a Resting Bitch Face was only a bad thing until I realized that just like anything else, it also has its perks. Having a permafrown with a piercing look comes with great power.

Parks and Rec
IndieWire

We all know that Parks and Recreation is one of the greatest shows ever to air on TV. As we watched every episode, we all found a piece of us in each character (even Jerry). From the moment we met the pit, to the time we saw it flourish into a beautiful park, we all had developed a little bit of Pawnee, Indiana in our hearts.
