If it has been a decade since the last time you have heard the name 'Panic! At The Disco', it's time you get caught up. With two new singles "Hallelujah" and "Death Of A Bachelor," Brendon Urie has announced that his band will be coming out with a new album on January 15, and released a new song and music video called "Emperor's New Clothes."
Before you dive straight into watching the video, there are a few things you should know. This video is a continuation of the This Is Gospel music video from two years ago. Both videos were directed and choreographed by Daniel Cloud Campos and his wife Tamara Levinson-Campos. Between Heaven and Hell, this new video gets very spooky, so it is not for the light-hearted. Below, I gave a recap of the entire video which you can also watch here.
1. Distorted sound of "This Is Gospel" flashback.
2. Brendon Urie tries to break free.
3. Brendon is confused because it seems he has died and is in Heaven.
4. But of course, he falls down into the pits of Hell.
5. Spooky music and skeletons
6. So that's what he means when he says "End Of Eras."
7. He's looking around because he probably doesn't know where he is yet.
8. Dramatic singing on the ground
9. Brendon can never keep his shirt on.
10. Yes, he does have horns.
11. Can somebody please explain his vocal range?
12. Who else is dressing as Satan Brendon for Halloween?
13. He's gone full Devil.
14. And then it just ends here.
When the video is over, all you have to do is press repeat. No matter how scary the video, the melody is a haunting one that you will find yourself humming all through out the day.
Don't forget to pre-order Death Of A Bachelor on iTunes to get immediate downloads of these new songs, and receive the album when it is released in January.
