We have officially entered the cold and flu season spiral. Soon in everyone of your classes sneezing will be the most common distraction that makes you miss every couple of words the Professor says. Get ready to stock up on those tissues!

Here are some tips to keep cold and flu season off your shoulders:

1. Preventive Care Practices: Build Up Your Immune System.

Keeping the common cold away from yourself takes as much work as staying physically active might but no matter how much you avoid it your immune system is ultimately under “attack” when viruses hit you.

Start by getting a lot, I mean a lot, of Vitamin B, D, and especially C because these can help you stay active and healthy during these upcoming winter months.

We all have the moment when we are underprepared, but getting sick is not one of the times to allow that to happen. Stock up early so that when you start getting that stuffy faced feeling, you are ready.

Without a healthy diet you will get sick. The best way to both curb your "hangry" cravings and keep your immune system in check is with nature's fresh fruit. Look for these items which are more easily purchased and are in season now:
