Formals are over, and the cold season is coming to a close, but it's not quite time to put away the paint supplies yet.

The countdown to the day you can finally leave the life of classrooms and multiple-choice exams begins.

There are so many things to worry about -- what you're doing after you walk across the stage, how long you plan on living back home with your parents to "save," how many guests will be at graduation for you, what the weather will be like on graduation day, the dress that you want to wear under the gown, and most importantly -- how you plan on decorating your cap!

Many high schools nowadays are cracking down and banning decorated graduation caps.

In college, it's quite the opposite -- it's strongly encouraged. Some people do the basic "Thanks, mom and dad!" while others try and go out of the box with creative and absurd designs for their cap in an attempt to grab people's attention.

Seniors, if you're struggling with what to put on that small square, here are 13 ideas for decorating your cap for that special day.

1. Pull out the "Mean Girls" quotes.

2. Everyone loves "Friends."

3. Because who doesn't like a little pun?

4. In the spirit of "Game of Thrones" returning for its sixth season -- and in the spirit of going into debt for the next 20 to 30 years of your life.

5. For any "Breaking Bad" fans out there (Walter White would be proud).

6. You never know who could be out in the crowd at graduation! Desperate times call for desperate measures. The QR code will make it quick and easy.

7. Go with the partially overdone Drake look. It's true, after all.

8. I mean, let's be honest... And don't forget about Wikipedia, too.

9. This one speaks for itself.

10. Because you never know where LIFE is going to take you. And after you get that diploma, you're going to find out.

11. Wouldn't have made it without Wine Wednesdays. (Or Thirsty Thursdays, or Dollar Drinks, or Marg Mondays...)

12. The best way to break the news, because they'll be so happy that you've graduated, you won't have to deal with repercussions until later.

13. Or go with the basic "Thank You" to the people who made it all possible. It doesn't have to be mom or dad -- it can be anyone who helped along the way.

So, you can decide to go with a simple "thanks," decorate with some 3-D crafts of flowers and jewels, or have a full-themed cap to sum up your college experience.

Just remember to keep it semi-appropriate and mature so you can show that college has helped you grow up (even if you're still a child at heart).

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
