10 Ways You Are Just Like Haley Dunphy

If you've never seen ABC's "Modern Family," stop what you're doing and watch it now. You won't be disappointed, especially when you meet Haley, the oldest of the Dunphy children. She is funny, smart and probably a lot like you. Here are 10 things about her you more than likely relate to.

1. She gets hangovers

TV shows don’t usually show what really happens the morning after drinking, but Haley shows us the real side of the “Irish flu” that we all get every weekend, and yet it never seems to stop us .

2. Her stalking skills are FBI level

She knows that it is very important to creep on any guy you may be going out with (or your ex, or your ex's new girlfriend) via Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. If you say you never Internet-stalk to find out information, you’re a liar. It’s about time we all admit the skills that Haley has are flawless.

3. She understand that a new hair do can change your life

With all the latest ombres, balayage and extensions trends out there, Hayley is on top of it, and so are you.

4. She gets in trouble

Like many people in our generation, she is a rebel. It’s finally time that a family comedy shows this. If you’ve never been caught sneaking out or had to run from the cops, you probably are just sneakier than the rest of us.

5. She gets what she wants

Haley knows how to talk to people and persuade them to do what she wants, without boundaries. Most of us have this down to an art.

6. She is stylish and always ready with fashion advice

Usually dressed in Free People, she works for a fashion designer and runs her own blog. Like many of us, she is always searching for the newest designs and tries to help her family do the same.

7. She likes to sleep

You get the point.

8. She sucks at driving

Our generation often gets blamed for causing accidents and driving distracted. Most of the time these accusations aren't too far off. Haley failed her driving test three times.

9. She likes bad boys

Who hasn't fallen for this guy? It might be fun to tag along in his rebellion for a little while, but like Haley, we know that it doesn't last with this guy forever.

10. She knows you always love the nice guy

During your 20s you usually realize this is the guy you want and deserve to date. After dating the bad boys, Haley ultimately falls for the nerd.

So move over, Marsha and DJ, there's a new idol in town.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.
