Believe it or not, summer is right around the corner. That means no more classes, no more homework, and more time to relax with some friends. For me, Massachusetts in the summer is the most beautiful place to be. We have so many beaches and so many cool places to explore. Here's a list of 25 things to do in Massachusetts when the weather is warm.
1. Take the ferry to Martha's Vineyard.
2. Head down with your friends to the Cape and play mini golf.
3. Go to a Red Sox game at Fenway Park.
4. Visit Six Flags in Agawam.
5. Take a trip to the Plymouth Waterfront.
6. Walk around downtown Northampton and visit the creative shops.
7. Grab an ice cream at Nona's in Scituate on the way to the lighthouse.
8. Wander downtown Northampton and visit the creative shops.
9. Walk the trails of World's End in Hingham.
10. Sip on your favorite Marylou's at Brant Rock in Marshfield and walk the jetty.
11. Watch the Demolition Derby at the Marshfield Fair (it's insane!).
12. Go to the Xfinity Center in Mansfield to see your favorite band live (while on the lawn, of course).
13. Drive with your windows down on Duxbury Beach.
14. Take your younger siblings to the Splash Pad on Nelson Street in the Cape.
15. Visit Peaceful Meadows in Whitman, grab an ice cream, and feed the cows.
16. Make some beautiful memories outdoors with your family and best friends.
Whether you decide to do all of these things, or just a select few, know that you won't be disappointed with any of the choices on my list. Remember, summers right around the corner so get excited for a few months of relaxing fun!
