17 Times You Can Relate To Toddlers And Tiaras

I just love "Toddlers and Tiaras" and wish with my whole heart that it was still on TV. I mean, it showed the crazy parents and the cute little kids. It also showed how much pressure is put on the kids as well as how care-free and kinda crazy we are as 7-year-olds. But we all can relate to 7-year-olds; they say the things we always think or do anyway, especially as college-aged kids.

1.

If you say you have never done this before you'd be lying. It's so funny how much a seven year old actually acts like a 20 year-old college girl. I mean It's kinda mean, but you never want to let her think you actually like her.

2.

Life goals. Claudia just gets it; tacos are life. Think about, you own Taco Bells and then you get free tacos and salsa. Your midnight snacks are always paid for. SO smart Claudia/

3.

Ok, they think about food a lot. I think about food a lot. Ok actually 24/7, and this is my thought 80% percent of the time. Especially in my 12:30 class.

4.

Life is really about good food and Eden just gets it. Too many good foods to choose from, I mean how do you decide between mac and cheese, tacos, pizza and cake? You just can't, it's impossible.

5.

Cheese dip is so essential. I mean you can eat it with every meal and its good on like everything.

6.

Beyonce is Queen. I've never thought about tanning this way, but hello. If you were against tanning before now I don't know why you would be against it now. So obvi I need to tan. She gets it. Side note: Have you read "Becoming Beyonce"? It's pretty life-changing.

7.

When someone tells me no. I mean why not? I'm cute. And so is she.

8.

I mean that's a little extreme shes around four and she twerks better than I do. But they have a point. Have you lost yet twerking? Let's be real.

9.

Madison, you could be my bestfriend. If only Hannah Montana was still on Netflix. That would be me all day, every day.

10.

She's sassy and she knows it, just like me. And there is no doubt that with that attitude she won her pageant. Sass always wins.

11.

Abs or pizza. Pizza or abs. I mean each side is so good, but I agree. Pizza always wins.

12.

Bacon is something you always think about. And while you're on your diet you'll def be crying and thinking about bacon. I know I do.

13.

It's my world, everyone's just living in it. worry about yourself and take care of yourself. Great mindset.

14.

You know how you get when you walk into your 8 a.m. and your professor starts lecturing you because you're late? Yeah...

15.

When girls start talking to bae. Lol, I mean they have to compete with me.

16.

I live for getting jacked up on Mountain Dew. If ya know what I mean.

17.

I mean, this is my mantra. It's the best way to live and this 7-year-old understands.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
