The 15 Best TV Intros Of All Time

These 15 shows below boast just a handful of my favorite television introductions. All of the shows except for "The Simpsons" and "Spongebob Squarepants" have stopped airing new episodes, yet they will live forever, and their epic introductions help with their existence in society.

1. "That 70s Show"

I always find myself singing every word to this intro song. It's upbeat and has just about the right amount of rock and roll. Its brings back fun memories from high school and young adulthood, which can be the best years of your life.

2. "Friends"

The intro for "Friends" stayed fairly the same throughout the show's life, adding more clips to represent each respective season. After watching the introduction so many times, you'll know the order in which the actors are introduced. If only I could find such a true group of friends in a cool place like NYC.

3. "Full House"

Uncle Jesse is the best, clearly. Not only is the introduction awesome and catchy, but the family is relatable and I've always learned something from every episode.

4. "That's So Raven"

I remember coming home from school, doing homework and watching "That's So Raven." I don't have any siblings, and this show had always made me wonder what it's like to have one...oh, and what it would be like to have superpowers.

5. "The Simpsons"

"The Simpsons" will never end, and why should it? I grew up watching "The Simpsons" because all the adults around me would watch it. I've grown to love this show because of the characters' personalities, the talented actors that play multiple characters on the show, and that no matter what color you are, you can still be part of a family and be loved.

6. "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air"

This is probably one of the catchiest intros/theme songs ever made in the history of television. Will Smith raps, sings, and acts -- it's almost too entertaining. I didn't start watching "Fresh Prince" until I got to my teenager years simply because I didn't understand the jokes. But now that i'm old enough, it sure is funny.

7. "Cheers"

"Cheers" is a classic and will always have one of my favorite introductions. This was another show that I grew up watching because of the older figures in my life. Not to mention that "Cheers" is a restaurant in Boston (Beacon Hill), Mass.

8. "Spongebob Squarepants"

The famous sponge, crab, starfish, squid, plankton, and covered-up squirrel make me adore the sea life even more. I would always watch "Spongebob" while doing homework or with my younger cousins.

9. "The Cosby Show"

"The Cosby Show" is filled with dancing and close family affairs. I couldn't get over how cute Raven was in every episode she appeared in. This was another show where I learned a lot.

10. "Everybody Loves Raymond"

Raymond, Robert and Debra are hilarious together. This long-lasting show is watched by all ages. My favorite characters are Raymond and Robert's parents. It is greatly relatable to real grandparents, and having them as neighbors.

11. "Sex and the City"

Sarah Jessica Parker stars in this show about four great girlfriends living in New York City. I watched this because my this is my mother's favorite show. As a viewer you can learn a lot about both sexes, relationships, and adulthood. Not to mention that it is actually funny.

12. "The Office"

The music in "The Office" sounds like the most epic elevator music you'll ever listen too. Once you hear it, you know exactly which show it is. "The Office" has made me realize that I wouldn't be able to work in an office unless it was with the exact cast, I just couldn't do it.

13. "The Fairly Oddparents"

A few people have made this show into their Halloween costumes, which I adore so much! This show expanded my imagination, wondering about how different my life would be if I was Timmy Turner.

14. "Drake and Josh"

One of my all time favorites! "Drake and Josh" explores the brotherly dynamic. Drake and Josh will always be a part of my childhood. The evolution of the show had made stars like Miranda Cosgrove get her own show like "iCarly," which is also popular.

15. "Mad Men"

The "Mad Men" theme song is very different from a lot of the other theme songs on this list; this intro follows cartoon drawings that are faceless, but have the outline of Jon Hamm's body. Even though the song is not cartoonish, it is fairly unique as it follows the theme of advertisements in the '60s. The uniqueness and risk-taking factors for this introduction are why I enjoy it so much.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
