Definitive Ranking of Grey's Anatomy Characters

24. Leah Murphy.

"Most annoying intern ever."

23. Izzie Stevens.

Girlfriend cut an L-Vad wire for a man, stole someone else's husband, left her husband, and then came back like nothing happened. I like guys too, but that's a really unhealthy pattern.

22. Shane Ross.

Shane was kind of the one who cause Heather's death, so...

21. Heather Brooks.

Heather was just so odd. She was talented though, so she's not at the very bottom of the list.

20. Erica Hahn.

She brought nothing to the show, and then just kind of disappeared.

19. Stephanie Edwards.

Stephanie didn't offer much to the show either, but we feel bad for her because her boyfriend dumped her for someone else's bride.

18. Preston Burke.

Honestly, I just can't like Preston Burke because he left Cristina at the altar.

17. Arizona Robbins.

Arizona was super cool and she was a fabulous doctor.... but that was all until she lost her leg. Then she turned into a cheating, lying, whiny son-of-a-biscuit.

16. Richard Webber.

We love when Richard was all sweet and caring, but now he's mean. Also there was that whole drinking stint. So Richard makes the bottom of the list. Sorry Webber-lovers.

15. Callie Torres.

Callie was so cool, and we felt so bad about the George thing. But then Arizona happened, and she just kind of got annoying.

14. Teddy Altman.

Teddy Altman. She's perfect. She's militant. She's funny. She married Henry. Also, she's beautiful.

13. Jo Wilson.

The only one of the new interns we really like, Jo is spunky, adorable, and awesome at bringing out the greatness in Karev.

12. Addison Montgomery.

Addison was another person you had to hate in the beginning, but then the poison oak thing happened, and we realized that she was funny and talented.

11. April Kepner.

She was annoying in the beginning, but April grew on us as she grew older, wiser, cuter, and funnier.

10. Jackson Avery.

Those eyes. That skin tone. That wedding intervention. Mm. We love us some Jackson.

9. George O'Malley.

It's been five or so years, and I'm still crying about George and the elevator opening.

8. Lexie Grey.

More than just a pretty face, Lexie was brilliant and brought out both the sisterly love in Meredith and the romance in Mark. Then she made us all weep during the plane crash.

7. Mark Sloan.

McSteamy and his love for Lexie. That is all.

6. Owen Hunt.

Other than the incident where Owen was stupid enough to lose Cristina, he was pretty cool with the army stint and the whole Cristina/icicle incident.

5. Derek Shepherd.

McDreamy. McPerfect. McChoseMeredithGreyOverAddison.

4. Miranda Bailey.

Originally labeled 'The Nazi' by her ignorant interns, Miranda turned five kids into incredible surgeons and even greater people, all while handling her son and her relationship with Ben.

3. Alex Karev.

We really didn't like Alex at first, he was just all sorts of awful. However as seasons went on, we saw his sweet side. He's not afraid to be himself, and he really, really loves kids.

2. Meredith Grey.

Meredith Grey: killer surgeon (pun intended), hard-working mom, and the funniest of main characters. It's hard to be cool and funny for ten seasons, but we think she's done a pretty good job.

1. Cristina Yang.

Yang is the queen of sass, sarcasm, cardio and all things boss. We're really missing her, and we're hoping she miraculously returns to Grey-Sloan Memorial.

gossip girl

On the Upper East Side, Blair Waldorf is an icon. She's what every girl aspires to be. She's beautiful, confident, and can handle any obstacle that life throws at her. Sure, she may just be a television character. But for me, she's a role model and theres a lot that can be learned from Queen B.

The Perks of Being a Girl

“I just want you to know that you’re very special… and the only reason I’m telling you is that I don’t know if anyone else ever has.”

As frustrating and annoying as it can be, being a girl is really awesome. We are beautiful inside and out. Not a lot of people may see that, but girls have a ton of amazing qualities.

We have unique flirting skills.

Us girls have a significant way to flirt with other people. Even when we say the most random or awkward things, we have a way of making everything sound cute and planned. It’s just a gift; we’re good like that.

Us college students know all about the struggle of spending the day in the library. Whether you are writing a ten-page paper, studying for a biology exam, or struggling through math homework, you somehow find the strength to get to the library to get it all done. Let's just say you have a lot of different thoughts that run through your head during the many hours you spend in the lovely library.

female tv characters
We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:

If you are like me, you have an interesting personality. Basically, you love to be sassy and snarky, gossip, and act like a total bitch (not really), but deep down, you are actually a very genuinely nice person. The idea of actually hurting someone truly makes you feel bad, and you probably have never actually hurt someone’s feelings because your kindness always shines through, even if you do not want it to. Not sure exactly what I would call this type of personality, but if you identify with it, here are some feelings you can undoubtedly relate to.
