In life, you meet many different people —especially in college. You meet those who love sleep more than anything and those who could care less about sleep. Some people are addicted to video games or Netflix, but I am addicted to sleep and 100 percent proud of it.

My day is filled with numerous activities, but in order to get all of them done, I must get enough sleep. But what is enough sleep? The amount of hours various for each person, but for me and those sleep-lovers, it is 10+ hours. Yes. Ten or more hours. Some people revolve their life around activities they enjoy, and I do, too! My activity just happens to be sleeping.

I always stumble upon people who question my passion for sleeping. They always say, "you can't sleep your life away!" And that may be true; but in order to enjoy life, sleep comes first. For those of you who enjoy sleep as much as I do, I guarantee this list will be relevant to you.

1. We wake up and the first thing we do is plan our day around our naps.

2. We take naps seriously. And when I say that, I refer to getting ready for bed as if it is the nighttime.

3. You don't understand how people function without at least 10 hours of sleep.

4. Your best friend probably loves sleep as much as you do.

5. Your typical response to texts always ends up being "sorry I was sleeping."

6. You wake up to many text messages because you ended up sleeping through the day. Oops.

7. You end up canceling because you just didn't get enough sleep.

8. Relationships come second, right after sleep.

9. If someone interrupts your sleep, they're automatically on your bad side.

10. You're always running late because you couldn't get out of bed.

11. You're happiest when in bed.

12. You sleep so much, you can't tell the difference between dreams and reality.

13. The sound of your alarm will forever haunt you.

14. Your safe place is in your bed.

15. You come home from school and the best reunion occurs - with your bed.

16. You constantly calculate the amount of hours you get of sleep if you go to bed at a certain time.

17. Getting out of bed early is one of your most difficult tasks.

18. Your best days include no alarm being set.

19. Naps are at their best when in your bed.

20. Breakfast? Never up for it.

21. No one bothers talking to you until at least noon.

22. Sometimes you get too much sleep.

23. At the end of the day, you can always count on your bed.

Thank you, sleep, for making me the person I am today. Goodnight.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major.
