Andy Dwyer is a fun, lovable and hilarious character on the show "Parks and Recreation." He's a "small-town boy at heart, but a world culture expert through and through." He may not be the brightest star in the sky but he never fails to make people laugh. He says some pretty weird things but has impeccable timing that makes anyone laugh until they cry. The things he says are things he thinks to be fully worth saying and fully true, but in reality they just make you feel 100 percent better about yourself. He says relatable things that give you a little hope in your own life. If you haven’t watched "Parks and Rec" yet, you should start and if you are having trouble deciding if it’s worth it, here are some of the best life lessons taught by Andy Dwyer.

"My whole life is a giant mess and I love it."

Your life isn't always going to be peaches and cream but you have to learn to ride the ride and enjoy it.

"Dude, shut up. That is awesome sauce."

It probably was awesome sauce. And never forget to appreciate other people and treat them kindly and give affirmation.

"Everything hurts. Running is impossible."

Because everything does hurt and running is not an exception.

"Anything is a toy if you play with it."

Never be bored, there are billions of opportunities waiting for you out in the world.

"I have no idea what I'm doing, but I know I'm doing it really, really well."

Who really knows exactly what they're doing? No one has it fully together, so it's OK... Just know everything you do when you try your best is awesome sauce.

"I'm fine. It's just life is pointless and nothing matters and I'm always tired."

Life doesn't always make sense and sleep is important.

"When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. I read that once on a can of lemonade. I like to think it applies to life."

Always be inspirational, even when someone else said it first.

"When they say 2 percent milk, I don't know what the other 98 percent is."

Who does? You don't always know where everything or everyone comes from but it all just kinda makes sense and you just go with it.

"Tried to make ramen in the coffee pot and I broke EVERYTHING."

We all have those days.

"Just remember, every time you look up at the moon, I, too, will be looking at a moon. Not the same moon, obviously. That's IMPOSSIBLE."

It's comforting knowing everyone in the world is looking up to A moon.

"When I get bummed out, I take my shirt off because the bad feelings make me feel sweaty."

Because who likes to be bummed out and sweaty?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
