"Being involved in Tri Delt has given me more opportunities than I could have imagined," Tri Delta's President, Aly Lehman said. "I'm extremely proud of all the incredible accomplishments our members have made. The supportive nature of every member makes Tri Delt the best place to grow and have a great time during college."

Tri Delta's dedication to its philanthropy, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, is one of the chapter's many points of pride. Last year, the chapter alone raised more than $200,000 to help patients and families in need. Tri Deltas are represented in a diverse array of organizations on campus such as University Fellows, The Blackburn Institute, and Student Government Association. Tri Delta is also proud have the 2014 Homecoming Queen, Allison Montgomery.

As the week of recruitment approaches, Tri Delta's rush chair, Sarah Grace Sparks, said, "We are all so excited for the PNMs to come through recruitment! The most important thing is to be positive and take care of yourself all week, and you will have the most fun of your life on bid day."

The 2014 Tri Delt Pledge Class spoke on what led them to choose Tri Delt and a little about their experience since Bid Day.

"Right away when I pledged Tri Delt I already felt so welcomed and loved by everyone in the chapter. I can't imagine going through freshman year without the support and friendships that I have gained from Tri Delt!"Lauren Lowe, PC '14.

"Going Tridelt was the best decision I've ever made. I've made incredible memories, and I know I'll keep these friends for life." Katie Lupton Godwin, PC '14.

"I chose Tri Delt because on Philanthropy Day during rush I knew this was the one sorority that actually had the most valuable and well-respected philanthropy. I knew I wanted to be a part of something that could impact the lives of kids while being in such an amazing sorority." Halle Hurt, PC '14.

"I was drawn to Tri Delt because I wanted to be with a group of girls who have the same values as I do. I also like the diversity that Tri Delt offers and that it gave me the opportunity to meet friends from all over the country. Even though we are not all exactly alike, we mesh well together, and that's the best part." Julia Kirkpatrick, PC '14.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
