Listen up, ladies, I have the app that will save your life -- not literally, but pretty darn close.

Before getting dressed you normally stand in front of your closet, for what seems like forever, stressing about what to wear. With all of your clothes in front of you, you still have no idea what to throw together. You are just wasting precious time that could go towards your makeup, hair, or most importantly, time with your friends.

Never fear, I have the app that will change the game: Pureple. Even though Pinterest is fun to pin different outfit choices, you might not even have those pieces in your closet. With this app you are able to virtually put outfits together with pictures you upload of your clothes, shoes, accessories, etc. The app allows you to visually lay out outfits while you are not at home.

Sometimes, it can be hard to remember every clothing item you own, and searching through old pictures to look at your outfits is too time consuming. College life can be hectic trying to balance social life and academics, and your time might be stretched thin.

Ideally it would be great to have time to stand in your closet and pick out your outfit, but that’s just not realistic. With this app, you can put outfits together without being in your closet! Whether you are bored in class, walking around campus, or stuck on the bus, you can decide what to wear for your upcoming event.

Running out of outfit ideas? You may think you need a new wardrobe, but that is not necessarily true. Take advantage of the app’s “suggest outfit” tab. See your pieces put into outfit combinations that you have never thought of before! It is like having your own personal stylist in your phone, free of charge.

While Pinterest is a fun way to look at fashion trends, it is not always easy to find the latest trends. The “trending” tab on the app shows you the latest and greatest outfit trends, keeping you up to date.

Out shopping and you find a piece of clothing you absolutely love? Sometimes you don’t know what you can wear it with. You blank out on what is hanging in your closet. Now you can break out your app and flip through your wardrobe while in the store.

Don’t remember the last time you wore your favorite outfit out? No worries! On the calendar feature, Pureple allows users to not only keep track of what outfits they wore, but also will lay out outfits for future events.

I told you this was a game changer. Sleep in an extra 15 minutes by virtually laying out your clothes the night before. While it doesn't seem like you are saving a lot of time, you will thank me when you wake up late and are scrambling to get dressed.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
