Welcome to Zoom University! Here are 7 people you may stumble upon during your time here. Enjoy and hopefully some of these will give you a good laugh in the midst of the craziness happening right now.

1. The Confused Elder.

Technology can be confusing for all of us. There is no shame about it.

2. The Background Traveler.

One person is sitting in a forest. One person is sitting in New York City. One person is sitting in front of the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco. We love a world traveler.

3. The Black Screen.

Seriously, I totally relate to this one. I can still be present in class while laying in my bed. Nobody has to know I am laying in the bed.

4. The Best Dressed.

There is always that one person who is going to out do everyone by showing up on Zoom wearing their nicest clothes. This isn't a fashion show. Anyways, half of us are wearing sweatpants and t-shirts per usual.

5. The Multitasker.

For those who are this type of person, learn how to mute yourself. The whole class does not need to listen to you eating or talking to your mom.

6. The Screamer.

"Can you guys hear me!?!" "Am I talking too loud!?!" Some people have failed to realize that you indeed do not need to scream in order for us to hear you. Nor do you need to talk directly into the speakers on your laptop.

7. The Animal Lover.

Ok, so I am honestly not complaining about this person. Anytime a dog or cat shows up in the Zoom classroom is a great day.

There is always a time in the semester when you have about three papers, four tests, five assignments and two projects due within the same time period. Isn't that just the best?

It's almost as if the professors all plot against you just to make college even more stressful than it already is. No matter how many people try to make you feel better, no one ever compares to your mom. Moms always know exactly what to say.
