Your first question might derive from trying to understand "What exactly is a zoodle?"

Noodles are noodles made out of zucchini! You can also use other vegetables to make different kinds of vegetable noodles. They are the perfect substitute for a carbohydrate, like pasta, and are easy to make.

The first recommendation I have is to invest in a spiralizer. Most grocery stores do have pre-made zoodles or other vegetable noodles, but over time, it is both easier and less expensive to make your own. It's also great to make your own when you have fresh local produce.

One simple way to cook zoodles is to saute them in a frying pan with some olive oil and fresh garlic. Zoodles do not need to be cooked for too long either. When you cook them for too long, they can become a little mushy and not hold as much of a firm texture that mimics pasta.

Another easy way to make zoodles is to saute them in some pesto and grape tomatoes. It makes a perfect lunch or side at dinner.

An alternative to zoodles, that is also a vegetable substitute for pasta, is spaghetti squash. I find spaghetti squash the best to use when I make meatballs or a homemade pasta sauce that is richer.

Don't be afraid to experiment with zoodles or any other vegetable noodles in your every day cooking and switch up your weekly meals.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?
