The Zodiac World Vs. Real World Effects

When two different worlds collide on a social and emotional level.

When two worlds come together, it creates a type of energy that embraces everything inside of it.

Such as the “real” world and “zodiac” world.

Back in middle school and high school, finding out your zodiac sign was very “in” and I never paid much attention until early college or so.

Reading your personality traits on your sign and characteristics can really blow your mind by how accurate the description seems to fit you. With my sign being a Scorpio, my eyeballs would be blood-red just reading some awful habits and even some habits that I would never reveal! It was astonishing to know that if some people really believed in this, they can get a glimpse of the person you are on the surface and sometimes inside.

I'm sure we all have looked up our signs, whether it's your moon sign or sun sign for eternity. It's quite interesting to read something on the internet and have it match your personality or ways of thinking.

Now, to wake up every day and read your horoscope vs. waking up and telling yourself you're ready to face the world on today's date, of this year, are two completely different strategies to embrace the unique self you are whether or not your horoscope says, “Today will be a dread. Better to stay in and handle the worst things tomorrow. Make yourself aware that things aren't what they seem now as Mercury and blah blah moves into blah and blah”.

Point is, everyone has an option to dictate how their life goes and to vision what they want no matter how far that goal seems to be. Whether you follow your horoscope every day, or go to church in the mornings, or wake up and dance to songs you never want anyone to know about, I believe we all should follow what makes us most happy.

So for the zodiac lovers, and realists out there...note to you all: Don't dim anyone's light to make yours shine the brightest.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.
