Aries: Vicki Gunvalson

Aries are energetic, encouraging and bold, similar to Vicki Gunvalson's determination to make every event a party. Much like an Aries, Vicki also suffers from being a little bit bossy and stubborn, especially with people she looks down upon because she secretly strives to be on top.

Taurus: Erika Jayne

A Taurus is all about over-indulgence. Erika Jayne is no stranger to life's finer things, which often is expressed through her vanity and cautiousness around those whom she senses may take advantage of her. However, she is extremely patient in the face of conflict and supportive of her friends' decisions (a la Dorit's live performance at PK's birthday party).

Gemini: Bethenny Frankel

Gemini's are all about being resourceful, original and wise. Bethenny is a BOSS when it comes to being a businesswoman, and hates when anyone tries to take credit for the 'Skinny Girl' empire she has created. Her quick wittiness and often judgmental behavior parallel with a Gemini's traits of being clever but sometimes two-faced.

Cancer: Dorit Kemsley

Similar to Dorit, be careful of what you say around a Cancer. Cancers are known for being gossipy and for letting their emotions dictate their decisions. However, their heightened emotional side results in them being extremely nurturing and caring, especially to children. They tend to be super creative and competitive, like Dorit amidst the creation of her new swimwear line.

Leo: Ramona Singer

Leo's are often depicted as the drama queens. They love attention and do everything with intense passion. They tend to be the most honest and entertaining of the signs, which is head on when it comes to Ramona Singer. She always keeps the other housewives on their toes, as they never know when Ramona could have a moment of insecurity and act out against them.

Virgo: Teddy Mellencamp

The Virgo's symbol is the virgin because they tend to be the most responsible of the signs. Some weaknesses of a Virgo include being preachy, uptight and critical. Teddy, who works as an 'Accountability Coach,' often uses her job title as an opportunity to criticize the other housewives' behavior and use their mistakes as teaching moments.

However, she has good intentions and definitely benefits from the Virgo traits of dedicated, helpful and hardworking. Teddy also infamously is shocked by the other women's spending habits, as she is more on the frugal side.

Libra: Kyle Richards

A Libra just wants to keep the peace and have there be harmony, especially in group settings. Kyle Richards is extremely charming and sincere, just like Libras, yet her longing for everyone to get along often results in her being melodramatic in the face of conflict. She is continuously a strong woman and isn't afraid to stand up for herself, as fairness is important to her, but at the end of the day, all she wants is for everyone to be on good terms and have a fun time.

Scorpio: Theresa Giudice

Scorpios are the most intense of the signs, and Theresa Giudice is no different. Theresa is one of those housewives who will take care of you if she likes you, but if she doesn't like you, just hope she doesn't go flipping tables on you. The great thing about Theresa is her protective nature over those she loves, along with her loyalty and passionate way of life. Similar to a Scorpio, her passion is often her downfall, as it can be expressed as jealousy, being manipulative or vengeance.

Sagittarius: Kim Zolciak Biermann

A Sagittarius knows that honesty is the best policy and being able to look on the bright side of any situation will lead to a happy life. Kim preaches positivity and hopefulness, as her best-known catchphrase is "Ask, Believe, Recieve." Sometimes her honesty gets the best of her and she will become argumentative if someone disagrees with her, which goes back to the Sagittarius traits of recklessness and overconfidence.

Capricorn: Lisa Vanderpump

Capricorns are known as 'master planners' because they are organized, hardworking and dedicated to their craft. Lisa Vanderpump owns several successful businesses and ambitiously also has her own spinoff show, "Vanderpump Rules." On both of her shows, everyone knows that Lisa does not mess around when it comes to her businesses. She is often depicted as cold and snobbish, as she does not have any time for those who will hold her back from reaching her long-term plans.

Aquarius: Melissa Gorga

An Aquarius is often emotionally distant and irrational in the face of conflict. However, they are very logical and open-minded, meaning they give great, honest advice to those who ask for it. Melissa Gorga is often the voice of reason among her friends, as she strives for everything to be fair and authentic. Just like an Aquarius, Melissa does not like drama and wishes that everyone wasn't always so sensitive.

Pisces: Shannon Beador

Pisces are very imaginative and interested in the realm of fantasy. This leads them to be the healer of the signs, and be intrigued by mystery and karma. Shannon Beador is a strong believer in karma, and she never fails to remind the other housewives of that when they start a conflict with her.

However, Shannon can be very self-destructive, as she takes everything very personally. Further, just like a Pisces, she can be out of touch with reality, blinded by her own problems.

Nobody deserves to be living in poverty.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
