Okay, listen up.
I know that it is very easy to keep getting swept up into the hype that comes along with game releases for new platforms (don't you even dare mention Animal Crossing coming to iPhone because I cannot wait any longer), but with this excitement, we are slowly forgetting about the height of games' past. Along with that past comes the one that reigns high above all: Zack and Cody's Pizza Party Pickup.
I am offended by my own memory that I forgot this game existed. Thanks to my wonderful roommate, this delicacy was placed back into my everyday routine and my life will not ever be the same.
It has come to my attention that while studying my late nights away in Marston Science Library- and by studying I mean playing Zack and Cody's Pizza Party Pickup- that some of you may have never played this game nor have you heard of it.
Truthfully, this is unacceptable, so allow me to culture you.
I can recall many an afternoon of my elementary school life spent staring at this screen before falling into the pizza-filled abyss for hours on end. The game is simple: you pick one of four characters (Zack, Cody, Maddie or London) and you have to collect tickets on each floor of the hotel, along with slices of pizza and other snacks and goodies to throw the best pizza party ever! The catch? Don't get caught by Mr. Moseby or Carey, the twins' mother.
You utilize the hallways to sneak past the other characters and to also retrieve extra items for the party. It looks fairly simple in the photo above, but I can assure you that by level five (the level that this 19-year old college student cannot even defeat) you'll be screaming at your laptop with more angst than you could imagine.
The fact of the matter is, no matter how hard you try I can assure you that you'll end up in defeat by level eight and they will always tell you that your pizza party was only "ok!" Accept your losses now and remember that Zack and Cody's Pizza Party Pickup isn't about the destination, it is about the journey.
