Top 8 Gluten Free Restaurants In St. Louis

Recently diagnosed with Celiac or gluten intolerance? Do you feel better eating gluten free? Trying to loose weight or cut belly fat? St. Louis is a fabulous city full of Gluten free restaurants that are yummy and affordable! What was once a niche market is now something every smart chef must pay attention to or they risk loosing customers!

I rounded up my favorite gluten free locations in St. Louis. Keep reading to see what restaurants made the list!

New Day

New Day is a family friendly restaurant located in Ellisville. The restaurant is located right off of Manchester Rd. and is delicious! They have created a kitchen full of comfort food including macaroni and cheese, pizza, sandwiches, pastas, breadsticks, soups, and baked goods! Their baked goods include wedding cakes, cookies, brownies, cakes, coffee cakes, cupcakes, cake pops and much more! The family who owns the restaurant is so friendly and knows their customers by name! You can feel the love of the workers and their calling to serve the gluten-free community by the way they serve you and ensure you get a meal that fits your restricted diet! I am gluten free, dairy free, peanut free, and meat free and I always walk out of there with a full belly satisfied and happy!

Mission Taco

Mission Taco is located in Central West End, Delmar Loop, Soulard, and Kansas City! All of their tacos and chips are handmade using corn and local ingredients that are baked daily. All of the tacos and chips are gluten free and they have a plethora of gluten free Alcohol options as well. The restaurant is great about making dietary accommodations and personalizing each meal!

Rooster

Rooster is a great restaurant located on South Grand and another on Locust. Both locations are great for an experience filled brunch! The location on South Grand is open until 10 p.m. whereas the other location closes at 3 p.m. They have gluten free crepes and also offer a variety of sides including potatoes, eggs, etc! Their sunset mimosas are a must!

The Old Spaghetti Factory

The Old Spaghetti Factory has the best gluten free pasta and salad! There are two locations- Chesterfield and downtown St. Louis! The gluten free meal options are apart of the normal menu and they are great about specifically stating what is and isn't gluten-free! Their pesto and house balsamic salad dressings are fabulous!

Pi Pizzeria

Pi Pizzeria has the best pizza in St. Louis! There are locations in Kirkwood, Central West End, Chesterfield, The Loop, Washington Ave, Washington D.C. and Ohio locations! It has fluffy crust and does not taste like a cardboard! They have unique topping choices and it is delicious! They also have gluten free chocolate skillet cakes with caramel drizzle and gluten free chocolate chip vegan cookie sandwiches! My favorite meal is their Rosé wine, Blazed veggies, Simple Salad, Berkeley Gluten free Pizza with no cheese, and the chocolate skillet cake!

Sushi Bistro

Sushi Bistro is located in Kirkwood! It is delicious and they also know their repeat customer's names and orders! They are knowledgable about gluten free options and also provide gluten free soy sauce. They will also make gluten free hibachi! They are the most cultural and accommodating gluten free sushi restaurant I have experienced in St. Louis!

Kaldis

Kaldis is located in Clayton, Kirkwood, Chesterfield, and Columbia! They have gluten free bread for sandwiches, hummus and many other food items! They also have baked items including cookies, biscotti's, and not to mention bomb coffee! They are affordable, friendly, and delish!

Crushed Red

Crushed Red is located in Creve Coeur, Kirkwood, and Clayton! They have gluten free crust for their pizzas and are super accommodating about making specialized salads that fit your dietary needs! All of the menu items are customizable and delicious!

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.
