*In the eve of all the terror that has happened lately, I have decided to make my article this week light in subject matter. This in no way diminishes my sympathy for the event, I truly wish that everyone is safe and well. I just believed that we needed a bit of a distraction. Is that so bad? *

In the rise of a new summer, I have already found myself, two days in, cloaked in multitudes of free time. Whether it's in between fun-filled spurts of adventure, waiting for a ride, or the brief pause before a restful night's sleep, boredom is bound to set in.

And since we were born into to the glorious 21st century, our boredom can be quickly resolved by our cell phones, primarily on social media, games, or the general Internet.

As for me, and many other before I, I prefer the sweet comfort of Youtube to cure my mood.

However, I do not watch just any channels, I prefer those of immense entertainment and filler of time. When I watch Youtube videos I know I want to be thoroughly entertained, enough to happily fill any amount of time.

Here are five entertaining Youtube channels you can just sit back and relax to.

1. Threadbanger- Man v. Pin

Compared to his female counterpart (Corrine v. Pin), Robs hilarious take on the show is undoubtedly entertaining. Filled with sarcastic jokes and pure humor, you will be treated with the funniest DIY show around. Even if you aren't a big craft person, it is still so much fun to watch Rob attempt to recreate crazy Pinterest crafts. However, swears and middle fingers are an iconic part of his videos. Same with various amounts of blood.

2. Cinemasins

You don't have to be a movie lover to enjoy these guys sarcastic commentary of movies. You only have to be open to their jokes and capable of laughing. Thus, if you ever find yourself in need of entertainment, stop by this channel to see these hilarious men joking about your favorite movies.

*Screen Junkies is as well very similar and equally entertaining*

3. Watchmojo.com/ Ms. Mojo

It is not hard to find a video on these channels that appeal to you. Whether its Top 10 Vampires on TV, Top 10 Best Female Comedians, Top 10 Worst Movies, or Top 10 worst Football teams, it's all worthy of your time. Just remember this channel the next time you find yourself in a span of free time, and in need of a good list.

4. AfterbuzzTV

We all love TV shows so why not watch/listen to podcasts on your favorite shows. And just like your regular programs and channels, these videos are hosted by a surplus of hilarious and entertaining people.

Plus, unlike other channels this channel is one you can watch without even looking at the screen. Originally made for podcasts, Afterbuzz TV is a gym worthy channel, perfect for any situation.

What's great about this channel, too, is that they have practically every show known to man on their channel, and thus they can also give you recommendations for other shows. Who wouldn't want that?

5. Buzzfeed Video

With this well known Youtube you will never be bored. With its awesome group videos (Try Guys, Test Friends, and Ladylike) and short cute or hard-hitting videos, it will drive you to be obsessed. Soon you will know every actor's (employee’s) name and will scream whenever there is a new group video. This channel will for sure cure your boredom.

If there are any I missed feel free to comment!

For those long nights that turn into mornings when the struggle is real.

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."
