Forms of entertainment change as society progresses. First it was live theater then radio then the cinema finally television. But there is now a new form of entertainment that is my personal favorite, Youtube. YouTube has so much different content that anyone can find something to entertain themselves. If you are trying to kill time then here are some You Tube channels to check out.
Matt and Amanda
Matthias and Amanda
Fey are a married couple who both have their own YouTube channels but also
share a daily vlog channel. Matthias's brother and brother-in-law have another
channel that they share with Matthais called Team Edge that is a challenge
channel. The family has a bunch of different channels with a wide array of
content they are a good place to start when trying to figure out what you like.
Tiffany Garcia
Aka Tiffyquake. Aka
Ihascupquake. She is a fun vibrant person who has two channels. One being
Tiffyquake which is a more personal channel with DIY projects, food taste test,
and more fun artsy things. Her other channel Ihascupquake, is gaming channel.
She plays PC, VR, and some consul. She is really fun to watch.
Jenna Marbles
Jenna Marbles has
been one of my YouTube favorites since the early 2000s. She just likes to live
her life and troll everything always. Her content can be described as random,
spastic, and phenomenal. If you watch her early videos she has a noticeable east
coast accent and makes wonderful rants, and comedy sketches. As time goes on
she just has an idea and runs with it. It's refreshing watching someone do
whatever they feel without apology and be able to support themselves.
Megan Batoon
She is a dancer, choreographer, cooking, pun-filled content creator. Megan is an L.A. based hip hop dancer. Her channel has weekly vlogs, challenges, cooking, dance, and so much more. Megan also loves fries more than anyone else in the world. If you are a lover of puns this could be the channel for you.
Michelle Phan
YouTube has a very
large make-up Community. One of the first YouTube makeup artists is Michelle
Phan. She started by just uploading some makeup tutorials as a creative outlet,
now she runs a makeup empire. She has other videos with life advice, beauty tips,
and so much more. I've found her videos are very soothing to play as background
noise. Michelle's voice is very soothing.
There are a million other choices on Youtube you just have to look. There are a lot of tutorials if you want to learn something new. There's also the late night and day time talk shows that upload clips from each show. There is a Youtube genre for everybody, I hope you can find yours.
