If you are looking for new YouTubers to check out, I have been watching this list of creators for a while now and can say that they are similarly genuine and unique. Their platforms and videos vary drastically. These YouTubers are perfect for college students because most of these creators are among the same age range and their content is something that is quick to watch while taking a break in between classes.

1. Cody Ko.

I have just recently discovered Cody Ko and binge-watched all of his videos. He is one of the funniest YouTubers out there. His videos are a lot of reaction videos, he used to have a vlog where he had a lot of sketches, and he continually comes out with a podcast episode at least once a week.

2. Trisha Paytas.

Trisha is known for being "real" on YouTube. She will upload unedited, an hour and a half long vlogs, just following her life and conversations that she has throughout the day.

3. Shane Dawson.

Shane is someone I have been watching for about 7 years. I love his content, he is genuine and hilarious with his followers. He spends a lot of time editing and making sure that he creates good quality content.

4. Ashley and Rachelle.

These two best friends are known for their "drive with me" videos. They post a lot of music and raps that they write and sing. The two of them make me laugh so hard. I know that this is one of the few channels that I can relate a lot to, especially as a woman.

5. PlayTheGameFilms.

This YouTube channel (run by Justin Escalona) is a fairly regular daily vlog. Justin's life is wild, and he vlogs all of it. This is a channel that is consistent and has very good quality content.

6. Alfie Deyes.

This is a British YouTuber who comes out with daily vlogs. I point out that he is British because I swear if I watch a couple of his videos in a row, I start talking in his accent. It is truly a horrible experience for everyone around me. But his videos are authentic to him and are filled with so many crazy pranks and spontaneous moments.

7. Buzzfeed Unsolved.

Buzzfeed Unsolved is where I go to get all of my true crime and conspiracy theory information. It is actually pretty factual and the two guys who host the show are hilarious.

8. vlogbrothers.

Hosted by John and Hank Green, they talk about literally anything and everything. From books to science, "nerd" conventions, and politics. They have a little bit of everything. They are both extremely hilarious but are also very intelligent and know what they are talking about.

9. David Dobrik.

David Dobrik is among one of my favorite vloggers. He posts three times a week, so you always have content to count on after a long school day.

10. Honest Trailers.

Honest Trailers is a channel where they play trailers of films, voted by their subscribers, and voice over the entire time with hilarious commentary about the film. They do all sort of films and they are honest.

girl with a hat

This is for the girls who have dealt with an emotionally, mentally, physically or verbally abusive father.

The ones who have grown up with a false lens of what love is and how relationships should be. The ones who have cried themselves to sleep wondering why he hurts you and your family so much. This is for all the girls who fall in love with broken boys that carry baggage bigger than their own, thinking it's their job to heal them because you watched your mother do the same.

Blair Waldorf Quote
"DESTINY IS FOR LOSERS. IT'S JUST A STUPID EXCUSE TO WAIT FOR THINGS TO HAPPEN INSTEAD OF MAKING THEM HAPPEN." - BLAIR WALDORF.

The world stopped in 2012 when our beloved show "Gossip Girl" ended. For six straight years, we would all tune in every Monday at 9:00 p.m. to see Upper Eastside royalty in the form of a Burberry headband clad Blair Waldorf. Blair was the big sister that we all loved to hate. How could we ever forget the epic showdowns between her and her frenemy Serena Van Der Woodsen? Or the time she banished Georgina Sparks to a Christian summer camp? How about that time when she and her girls took down Bart Bass? Blair is life. She's taught us how to dress, how to be ambitious, and most importantly, how to throw the perfect shade.

too tired to care

We've all been there. From move-in day to the first finals week in college, your first term is an adventure from start to finish. In honor of college decisions coming out recently, I want to recap some of the most common experiences college freshmen experience.

1. The awkward hellos on move-in day.

You're moving your stuff onto your floor, and you will encounter people you don't know yet in the hallway. They live on your floor, so you'll awkwardly smile and maybe introduce yourself. As you walk away, you will wonder if they will ever speak to you again, but don't worry, there's a good chance that you will make some great friends on your floor!

Recently I completed my freshman year of college, and boy, what an experience. It was a completely new learning environment and I can't believe how much I learned. In an effort to save time, here are the ten biggest lessons I learned from my first year of college.

1. Everyone is in the same boat

For me, the scariest part of starting school was that I was alone, that I wouldn't be able to make any friends and that I would stick out. Despite being told time and time again that everyone had these same feelings, it didn't really click until the first day when I saw all the other freshman looking as uneasy and uncomfortable as me. Therefore, I cannot stress this enough, everyone is feeling as nervous as you.
