YouTube's 10 Best and Brightest (Maybe)
YouTube

YouTube is one of the most populated sites on the internet containing trillions of videos that could last a lifetime to watch not even half of them. There are many random videos on there, some from popular sources like VEVO (a music video channel) and CNN (a news source) to everyday people that play video games or do makeup tutorials, each consisting of knowledge that someone else wants to know. It is an amazing site and god bless to all the people who put “How to…” videos on there and took the time to do that. I really should know how much laundry detergent I should put in the laundry but I still like to check; you know, better safe than sorry. I have conducted a list of the YouTubers I watch and which ones stood out to me to either be the funniest and/or most original.

1. videogamedunkey

Arguably the best YouTuber in existence, videogamedunkey is a gift to the YouTube world. Getting famous with his League of Legends videos, he sparked a love for making original content with video games. After one of his most famous videos “I’m Done With League of Legends,” he started focusing on reviews and arguably his best work when just making silly commentary on video games. He is still going strong and still releasing hilarious videos; anybody who likes to play video games needs to check him out.

2. h3h3Productions

H3H3 productions is a commentary channel where watchers view the world through Ethan and Klein’s eyes. He has a lot to say about everything and finds the worst content on the website and makes fun of it and it’s honestly the greatest thing. Recently, he has been joined with his wife, Hila, and her presence makes everything better. They both are awesome individuals who make YouTube a better place with their content.

3. MagikarpUsedFly

Mainly a league of legends player, making fake champion spotlights that are pretty on point, he has also made commentary on a lot of other video games that he plays with friends. His best videos, though, are when he makes a documentary-style video, discussing his life or someone else’s. He’s a very "meme-y" person so if you like memes, he is the person to go to.

4. Gus Johnson

Making short 20 second videos normally, Gus Johnson is not a well-known YouTuber, but his content stretches back ages, so you will never get bored. All his skits are original and hilarious and a nice refreshing twist on the normal YouTube criteria.

5. ProZD

Formerly a vine connoisseur, his channel is full of anime and Japanese related material for anybody looking to get an insight on the Japanese culture through food and shows. He also makes shorts that are 100% relatable to anybody who plays video games. He is pretty up to date with his memes and he has an amazing voice for voice acting (which he should really be doing, that gift is going unnoticed).

6. PewDiePie

Probably the most known YouTuber, PewDiePie became famous for playing games like Minecraft and Amnesia, putting the streamer into the spotlight and less of the game itself. Today, he talks a lot about current events, like H3H3, but he still plays a lot of video games and comments on a lot of them.

7. Imaqtpie

“The Best League of Legends Player Ever,” Michael “Imaqtpie” Santana, is a hilarious person that made League of Legends fun again. Even though he may not actually be the best, he’s pretty darn good, and he became more famous as a streamer than an actual championship player. His attitude and personality mixed with his amazing gameplay and his editor’s amazing skill to create YouTube videos from his streams that makes a worthwhile channel for anybody interested in League of Legends.

8. Good Mythical Morning

Rhett and Link are the best couple of YouTube and I will fight you if you think otherwise. Their show is called Good Mythical Morning and basically every morning, they talk to their audience about events of the day before or they just do stupid and crazy challenges because they can. Some days it’s the biggest bowl of cereal, other days it’s turning everyday foods into pudding. If you are looking for a good time, look no further than here.

9. HowToBasic

As I said before, the people who introduced the “How to” guides are the saviors of the YouTube world. This man upped the ante by adding his own little “flair” to the mix. He cooks and makes things from a POV perspective and makes a giant mess every time. However, it never gets old and although I wouldn’t follow his recipe, it’s an interesting way of handling each situation.

10. bill wurtz

His most famous video is the “History of Japan” (a goldmine of memes). Recently, he’s been making a lot of original songs and they are all catchy, but he followed his famous video with the “History of the world,” which is also fantastic. I can watch his Japan video many times and I’m going to do that again.

Although, yes, I do have a bias toward video game channels, you should check these out if are looking for some solid memes and some good, original content on YouTube, which, to be honest, is hard to find nowadays. 11/10 good memes.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
