Throughout nine seasons of air time, we were taught many lessons about love. We also probably identified with a lot of the failed relationships and love attempts. Barney, Ted, Marshall, Lily, and Robin could not have said it better. If you're having trouble within your love life currently, read on!

1. Desperately trying to act calm and collected in front of any possibly candidates.

You can't seem to ever say the right thing...ever.

2. You realize how much you hate having a crush.

Catching feelings is honestly the worst.

3. This is your thought process most days.

The struggle is real.

4. You figure if you get some liquid courage in you, you're sure to meet someone!

But it turns out you just end up meeting a huge migraine the next morning...

5. Your friends offer you to third wheel with them for the night.

"Just come watch a movie with us," which translates to: "Watch us cuddle and sit in your loneliness and be lonely."

6. All of your friends are in relationships and you're like...

It's Friday night and everyone is with their significant other and you find yourself on a hot date with Netflix. Let's face it, Netflix never leaves!

7. You constantly question whether you're good enough for someone to fall in love with you.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Is it me?

8. When the opposite sex even looks at you...

You've never felt so alive! He definitely smiled and definitely made eye contact. Maybe he's interested?

9. You celebrate the couples you hate breaking up because you're bitter and single.

Now there's two more to join the single and bitterness club!

10. You become irritated when a friend comes to you for "relationship" advice.

What a dilemma it would be to even need to even have a need for relationship advice!

11. You assume that every person you meet is "the one."

This is it...the man I will marry will be in this coffee shop.

12. When you just can't seem to conquer your awkward demeanor so you say things like this...

Just stop talking. Please.

13. Every time you watch a romantic comedy

You know you shouldn't watch them because the reaction is always so strong.

14. You find your love through food.

Pizza is always there and always delicious. And so is bacon.

15. You're fully aware of how great you would treat your significant other if someone only gave you the chance.

Seriously!

16. Your friends try to be your wing man every time you go out.

And then they end up getting the guy... It happens every time!

17. You realize you should never settle and will eventually find someone that likes and appreciates you for you.

It will happen.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
