Everybody has that ideal size of what they want to be and how they look. Girls see on the front covers of magazines at Target, Wal-Mart, Kroger, CVS, etc., and gain this picture in their head of what they should be. They believe they should be a size 0 with the perfect hair. They suddenly forget their inner beauty. They forget about that the girl on the cover has been photographed.
Women need to start realizing that healthy is beautiful. Beautiful is not starving yourself to fit into that gorgeous dress you saw at the mall. Skipping meals so that your significant other compliments you on how you have been looking lately.
I personally hate it when I read about girls on social media posting how they are "fasting" so they will look like that model. Just eat healthy and workout and that can make you a healthier version of yourself. I am sure every girl or woman in their lifetime, myself personally, has tried that fad diet to get down to a certain size. But I promise the best and healthiest way to possibly do that is by eating healthier and working out. I am not going to lie, sometimes I hate going to the gym, but I know if I want to have that cheat meal or snack at the end of the week I need to go.
Women have it the hardest, I believe, when it comes to looks. They have this persona in their head from a young age that the prettiest and skinniest girls always get the best things in life. Even when they reach their goal they still believe they need to look better. I hope a day comes when women reach that persona in their head when they are healthy and happy, that is the best size to be.
No matter the size your clothes says, every woman is beautiful. Healthy and happy is the best possible way to look. If a girl or lady, is trying to look a particular way just so she can get the guy she has been chasing, that is not the right person for her. If a person likes or loves you, they will accept you for who you are and what you look like. A person should not have to transform their life to look like that girl in the magazine. Honestly, I would bet the girl in the magazine does not even look like that.
The entertainment industry has changed the minds of women across the country. Women now believe there is a particular size of their body and they should transform to be like that. It seems ladies have forgotten that if they were happy, they would be much happier with themselves.
Marilyn Monroe once said, "To all the girls that think you're fat because you are not a size zero, you're the beautiful one. It's society who's ugly. "
