Everyone from Bedminster gets the same reactions every time they tell someone they are from Bedminster NJ. So I'm just here to clear the air and answer all the questions you might have.

1. "Uhhh where?" *Blank stares*

Bed-min-ster (noun): Bedminster is a township in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States.

2. "What towns surround you?"

Bernards, Basking Ridge, Far Hills, Pluck-a-look at a map

3. "That's a town?! It sounds like a mattress store!"

4. "Have you been to Trump National?"

Theres so much more than Trump National in Bedminster. I promise Hamilton Farms is way nicer.

5. "Have you ever met Trump?"

Yes, he comes over for dinner after a 18 round

6. "Do you live on a farm?"

BEDMINSTER IS MORE THAN JUST FARMS AND GREEN GRASS PEOPLE

7. "What part of Jersey are you from?"

Central Jersey

8. "So northern Jersey?"

Nope, still central.

9. "Pork roll or Taylor ham?"

TAYLOR HAM

10. "Do you live in The Hills?"

This isn't a bad question to ask, but make sure you're not just assuming they live in the hills.

11. "Lower or upper hills?"

Okay okay another valid question

12. "Is there a high school?"

No, and that's fine, we just share with Bernards.

13. *automatically assumes you're rich*

assumes you're stupid

14. "Oh I love Bedminster! It's such a cute town"

Thank you, just thank you.

With all this being said, if you have never traveled to the petite town of Bedminster NJ, I strongly recommend you do because it is filled with history and beautiful sights that you have to see at least once.

In case you're unaware, "resting bitch face" is the term used to describe when a person's natural, expressionless face makes it look like they are mad at the world. Whether they are walking down the street or simply spacing out thinking about what to eat for dinner, it's very easy for others to assume that this person is either upset or mad at them. Because of this, those of us with Resting Bitch Face (RBF), and especially us women, have all experienced many of the same situations and conversations, including:

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.
