Being a "Disney person" or even a "Disney family", is one of the most exciting things you can be. With my mom being a travel agent and booking endless amounts of trips to Disney for others (and our family), you wouldn't have to second guess that we are Disney people. (AND WHY WOULDN'T WE BE? IT'S GREAT).
Enjoy the ways I believe you know you're a Disney person, and all the Disney throughout my life.
1. You know it' "The Happiest Place on Earth"
If you hear the words, happiest place on earth, you don't think of anything but Mainstreet U.S.A., the rides, and good ol' Mickey.
2. Knowing your fastpasses and dining plan like the back of your hand
If you're Disney people, you do not play when it comes to your FastPass schedule. You need to be at Space Mountain at 10:05? You're there at 10:05. You know the parks you can't pick the top three tiered rides all at one time. So if you're in Hollywood Studios and you want to ride Rockin' Roller coaster and the Toy Story, you know you can't pick them at the same times. As far as your dining plan, before you go to the parks your mom will nag you to keep track of how many quick serves and snacks you have left.

3. How you talk about characters
If you talk about Mickey and Minnie like real people in your life, you can consider yourself a Disney person. Pluto is your dog just as much as he is Mickey and Minnie's. Goofy and Stitch are your friends too
4. The parks
If you can find rides in Disney faster than classes on your college campus then maybe you've been to Disney one too many times (which is 100% not a bad thing).
5. Pin collection
Mickey ears aren't the only thing that Disney is known for. Pin trading is one of the fun little purchases that make your time at Disney extra fun! If you've ever traded pins with a cast member, or have more than two lanyards full of pins, you're probably a Disney person.
6. You know the "Disney terms"
As any Disney fanatic knows, the workers are not employees or workers, they're cast members. Behind the scenes work or back rooms cast members do or go to is called backstage. People that stay with the characters are their handlers, and each day is a show.
7. The castles
If you know Cinderella's castle is Disney World, and Sleeping Beauty's castle is Disneyland, and which one is in California and which is in Florida, you're golden. You'd be considered platinum if you knew the other castles in other parts of the world.
8. Customized magic bands
Instead of just keeping the gray or regular colored magic bands, you actually decorate yours. Magic bands are fun because now they have all these different types of pieces you can put on them. Customizing them and having your unique color is the best.
9. Magic shots
No no, not actual shots. When you go up to a photographer and he says okay time for a magic shot, you know exactly how to put your hands so later when you look at that picture, Tinkerbell is standing in them.
10. Signature Disney foods
Dolewhips, tonga toast, Mickey ice cream bar, candy apples, turkey legs. That's all I have to say.
11. Where to look
The rides that take your pictures are obviously the best ones, so you always make sure to pose because candids on rides are overrated now.
12. Epcot's countries
You know all of them. You go to all of them. Each country has their uniqueness about them and for a moment you might even forget you're in Florida!
13. Hollywood studios is a mess
You're mad that the Sorcerer's hat is gone and you still call it MGM (but you still love it).
14. Magic hours
Magic hours are the best part about staying on Disney property. Going to the parks before the official open time and staying later than the official close time. Magic hours give you an excuse to say it's normal to stay in the Magic Kingdom from seven in the morning until two in the morning.
15. The magic
Whether you're six or sixty-six, the magic doesn't die for you. The most important part of being a Disney person is knowing how to not grow up.
If you can relate to everything listed in this article, you're definitely a Disney person. I've luckily been one since day one.
One more thing, Harry Potter is Universal, not Disney and they are NOT the same thing.
