Every single year, you choose the same ole New Year's resolution. What is it? Drinking more water?Working out at the gym? It's time for a change friends, so let me give you a few new ideas!

1. Learn new music.

If you listen to the same genre of music every single day then maybe you should try something new! Besides, you can't tell me that the same artists don't get boring after a while.

2. Pick up a guitar.

It doesn't even have to be a guitar. Try an instrument that you've always been interested in. You don't have to be a prodigy to learn a song, and if you get really good at it, it could even be a party trick.

3. Pet more dogs (srsly tho).

Does this even need an explanation?

4. Give more love.

Give more love; someone out there needs it, and you could be the one to give it.

5. Volunteer more.

Volunteering is a very rewarding job. This new year, volunteer at an animal shelter (and pet more dogs), homeless shelter, or even a food pantry. People need your help, you just have to be willing to give it.

6. Lay off the carbs.

If you're really set on losing weight this new year, cut carbs out of your diet. Your body will thank you for it.

7. Go to 20 concerts.

Make a crazy goal for yourself like go to 20 concerts. Try as hard as you can to do it. You might not reach your goal, but at least you had fun and made memories while you were getting there.

8. Road trip somewhere new.

If you don't love a good road trip, its probably because you're not going with the right people. Get some of your best friends together, make some bomb playlists, and road trip to somewhere new. Make memories. Have fun.

9. Find love.

This could be the year that you find the love of your life. Don't be shy, be courageous. Talk to that cute girl or guy at the bar. See what happens, you never know who you'll meet next.

10. Do a random act of kindness once a month.

One act once a month times twelve months means helping at least twelve people, and I know that you can do it.

11. Write more.

Write until you have nothing left to write about. It'll help your english and grammar skills, and if you like it, you could end up writing articles like me.

12. Make new friends.

Go out and meet new people. You don't need to always stick with the same group of people. Meet new people, make new friends, and make amazing memories this new year.

13. Find yourself.

Find yourself. Reinvent yourself. Make you the best you that you can be.

14. Make a youtube channel.

You could gain approximately 3 million subscribers overnight, so why don't you give it a try?

15. Smile more.

A smile a day keeps the bad away. Just you smiling at a stranger can change their entire day. Don't frown when you've got so much to smile about.

Happy New Year and good luck!

an image of taylor swift standing center stage surrounded by her backup dancers in elegant peacock esque outfits with a backdrop of clouds and a box rising above the stage the image captures the vibrant aesthetics and energy of her performance during the lover era of her eras tour

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
