As time goes on and as I get older, I start to realize that your word becomes your bond. I notice that people just let words run out of their mouths like water runs out of the faucet. We shouldn't speak so freely and take into consideration that if our word is broken how this could affect someone. I can remember as a child when someone made a promise that either they may take me somewhere, or were going to do something for me and I felt broken when it was promised.
So as I listen to President-elect Donald Trump flip-flop back and forth on the promises he made while running for President of the United States, it behooves me that some don't see the light at the end the end of the tunnel. I understand that we have to give him a chance to prove himself, but I don't want him to be proven wrong so quickly before he takes the oath of office. But when you take a particular job there are requirements that you must fulfill; you can't pick or choose what you want to do and when you want to do it when you're the leader of the free nation. I know everyone feels like they are the brightest and sharpest crayon in the box, but what CEO of a corporation, or what manager, doesn't go to staff meetings because they feel that you're smart?
I see it like this: the United States of America is a corporation, so Trump needs to debrief every single day of every minute of every hour. I don't care how smart you believe that you are or how financially savvy you think you may be, but don't be intellectually foolish Mr. Trump. He is shaping up to be more than just an activist president, it seems like one of his tweets drove down the stock price of a major American company. With another, he unleashes a flood of death threats against a local labor leader who displeased him. some are calling for Mr. Trump to publicly announce he would keep several of his campaign promises, including avoiding cuts to entitlement programs and to reduce the price of prescription drug costs. But from the looks of it don't hold your breath, because hell will freeze over before he tells the truth.
