If you're looking for that desirable, artsy day in Los Angeles that will make for plenty of Instagram-worthy photo-op moments and make you feel like you are, indeed, having an adventure that every person seems to want nowadays, then look no further. Here's a game plan that's sure to make for tons of laughs and end in plenty of hashtags.

1. Start your morning with a workout at City of Angels Boxing

Despite getting in a killer workout in that will literally leave your muscles quivering even in the fetal position, the steady beat from the rap music pushing you (and your squats) further will have you thankful you stepped into the industrial building in the first place. You just got 100 percent tougher. And 1000 percent more bad ass. AKA it's 2000 percent the right way to start off the day.

2. Eat at Grand Central Market

After working up an appetite, head over to this outdoor market where eclectic foodies are sure to find their fix, whether that's in fresh-pressed smoothies, sushi and miso soup, sticky rice, tacos or grass-fed meat burgers. Since you worked out that means no guilt, right?

3. Walk through Los Angeles Art District

With cool, unique art fairs popping up at all corners like Artists & Fleas and murals and graffiti art beautifully transforming plain buildings into beauties of color, this is a place where photos are begging to be taken.

4. Serenade strangers in the street as you drive to Santa Monica

This is pretty self-explanatory. It's fun. It's a little ridiculous. But you're sure to make someone's day along with your own

5. Park it and go to the pier

It's kind of iconic. Treat yourself with some blue cookie monster ice cream, play the arcade games and walk to the end to look out endlessly over the pacific.

6. Wear a wig (because why not)

People do weird stuff in Los Angeles all the time, yeah? And this time you have an alter ego. Have friends walk up to you and say "Can I take a photo?" Believe it or not, people will think you're famous. And for all they know...you are, right?

7. Walk along Third Street Promenade

Shops, shops, shops. Shop 'til you drop or until you care to be entertained with street performers in between stores. The only place where you'll see a five year old decked out in Adidas "twerking like Miley" for tips outside of ZARA.

8. Go to Perry's Cafe on the beach to catch the sunset

Wiggle your toes in the sand while you enjoy Mahi Mahi tacos and watch beach volleyball games just steps away. When the sun goes down on the water, there's not a prettier place to be.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
