Are you tired of having the same old date? Need some inspiration? Or maybe you're looking for new places to travel to, but are unsure of where? Well, here's a list (in order) of your next date!

Location: Memphis, Tennessee.

City & State

Start out the day with a fresh cup of coffee at City and State! It has such a clean, stylish atmosphere you'll feel like you need to document it. Their cups of coffee are worth the price too! I recommend the BonBon drink.

Overton Park

Take advantage of the beautiful day and visit the Overton Park! They have a vast open space, perfect for soccer, Frisbee or just laying out. They also have a dog park which is always fun to just go in and pet all the dogs that come up to you! Not too much further down from the dog park, they have a trail which is great for pictures and of course, walking. Go take some cute couple pictures here.

Brooks Art Museum

Walk a little further up the park and you'll see the Brooks Art Museum! There's a wide range of art pieces from paintings to sculptures to artifacts. The admission price is cheap too! Every Wednesday admission is free from 10 am to 8 pm!

Oshi Burger

By this time, you two might be feeling hungry! Grab a bite to eat at the Oshi Burger! It's a hamburger and milkshake restaurant with an Asian theme to it. Random, I know, but it's so yummy you won't even care! Their fries are to die for. Also, it's on Main street so you can walk down this street and come across lots of other restaurants and little shops.

Sweet Noshings

Dessert, anyone? Head on over to Sweet Noshings and get a bag of sweets! It has a vintage theme to the store, and more candy than you probably even know. They also have ice cream, milkshakes, popcorn, and fudge!

The Mississippi River

Don't miss the chance to catch a sunset by the river! You are in Memphis after all. What's a Memphis date without seeing the river?

Malco Summer 4 Drive-In

After you've had your picturesque romantic moment by the river, catch a movie at the Malco Summer 4 Drive-In! They have good prices and the latest movies! It's not every day that you get to watch a drive-in movie. It's the perfect way to end the night.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
