Grandma's are here for a good time, not a long time and we want to enjoy them while they last. Here are some reasons why your grandma should be your best friend.

1. She spoils you with love and lots of cookies.

Grandmas make the best cookies, regardless of flavor.

2. She never fails to make her house feel like home.

Sometimes if your lucky, you even get your own room.

3. She takes you on some pretty bomb vacations.

Whether it’s the next town over or somewhere tropical, she spoils you.

4. She's been with you since birth so she basically knows everything about you.

All of your past relationships, all of your friends, your daily routine, she knows it all.

5. She keeps your secrets from your parents.

She knows some things that you’ll keep from them for your entire life.

6. She's pretty much your human diary.

Tell her everything, she won’t judge. Also, she gives some pretty good advice based on her life experiences.

7. Did I mention that she bakes a lot of cookies?

Snickerdoodles, chocolate chips, sugar, no bakes...

8. She listens to you more than she listens to anyone else.

She would drop everything just to hear your voice.

9. She gives you a little more love than she ever gave her own kids.

Grandkids are truly spoiled!

10. In her eyes, you can never fail, no matter what.

Even if you win last place in your favorite sport, you won first place in her eyes.

11. She has the biggest knowledge of natural healing remedies for when you get hurt.

Don’t even get me started on the jello/Sore-throat trick or the “spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down.”

12. She has seen you naked as a baby so she knows you inside and out.

She has changed your diapers and most likely kissed you all over the place so know that she probably knows where all of your birthmarks and scars are.

13. She makes an effort to introduce herself as "grandma" to your friends.

Mi abuela es tú abuela. = “My grandma is your grandma.”

14. She never thinks that you are too old for sleepovers at her house.

She definitely knows how to party!

15. ^ Where she makes cookies

AH YAY COOKIESSSS!!!!!

16. She's down for crazy adventures because she savors your youth.

You may think that she is being “embarrassing” or “uncool” by going to the movies with you but someday you’ll look back on those days and smile.

17. She loves you more than anyone in the world so cherish her at all costs.

No one lives forever, spend all the time that you can with her!

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
