The weekend has finally arrived! You've done it. You survived another week of class and clubs and God only knows. Monday through Thursday are the hardest days of the week, but face it. The second Friday comes, you instantly feel this Christmas-like feeling of excitement and joy.

Only Taylor Swift can encompass the many emotions you feel on a Friday night:

1. Waiting for the invite to a party like:

2. When you finally get that invite:

3. When you get all dolled up and you are feelin' yourself:

4. When you and the squad are ready to roll up together and make your entrance:

5. That one friend that doesn't want to go:

6. When the night is young and no mistakes have been made yet:

7. When Mr. Brightside comes on:

8. Someone yells "let's take shots!":

9. After you take them...

10. Your one friend starts crying about some boy:

11. You get upset about some boy:

12. But you get up, wipe those tears, and shake it off:

13. So you just dance the night away and enjoy your girl squad:

14. When it's time to leave the party:

15. Catching an Uber back to campus:

16. Having deep convos with your Uber driver:

17. Finally getting home to your bed:

18. But your roommates bring you chicken nuggets and water:

19. Waking up the next morning and looking at yourself in the mirror:

Puerto Ricans. They are very proud people and whether they were born on the island or born in the United States by Puerto Rican parent(s). It gets even better when they meet another fellow Puerto Rican or Latino in general. You’ll know quickly if they are Puerto Rican whether the flag is printed somewhere on their person or whether they tell you or whether the famous phrase “wepa!” is said.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
