A long distance relationship definitely isn't for everyone. Some people don't even consider it an option and those who do might not quite understand what they are getting themselves into. You need more than just love for your partner. It takes hard work and dedication to your significant other in order to make it work. Below are some of the key reasons a LDR will not work for you.

1. Not enough time: In order to make it work, you have to put forth more time than a normal relationship. You need to go the extra mile to send those good morning/good night texts and put aside time during the day to talk on the phone. Even when your life gets really busy and it will, you will have to make time in order to keep a happy and healthy relationship.

2. Focusing only on them: It's easy to get so overwhelmed in a long distant relationship that you stop living your own life. Being crazy in love is a great thing, but it's important to be able to live your own life and trust your partner. Plan a time that you get to talk to them during the day and spend the rest of your day doing your own thing. In the long run, you both will be happier for it.

3. No in-person time: The most common question asked is "When will I see you again?" Before you start your long distance relationship, be clear on when you can see each other. Whether you are driving to each other on the weekends, or flying out as much as you can afford, it is important to be able to look forward to the next time you can be with your significant other. If no in-person time is available, make time to Facetime or Skype as often as you can. You will be surprised the difference it can make.

4. Consumed by the negative: There can be a lot of negatives in a long distance relationship and it can be all consuming if you let it. It's not easy going days, weeks, or months away from the person you are in love with. It's easy to have thoughts of doubt, or that a long distance relationship isn't right for you. Remember to focus on the positive, the next time you get to see your partner, or just the happy memories you have together.

5. Withholding information/not staying loyal: There is a lot of trust in a long distance relationship and you need to do everything you can not to abuse it. Yes, it is still lying if they never ask and don't bring it up. When you are in a long distance relationship, you lack physical touch which is a crucial part of a healthy relationship. Some decide to seek it from other people. Remember, it's always best to be upfront with your partner when things are getting too hard, than finding another way to get the attention you are lacking.

A long distant relationship can be difficult but also completely worth it. If you find right partner, don't let a little distance keep you from being together.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo
