Excitement sets in the minute the trip is booked, wherever it may be. You have the travel plans ready, the hotel reserved and the money saved. You’ve been ready for spring break since the last one ended. All except for one thing: your body.

Oh. No.

Nobody enjoys wearing clothes that don’t allow them to feel comfortable and confident. For many girls, bikinis and other bathing suit styles are something they would rather not be forced to prance around in for any amount of time.

It is a struggle for all these girls to look forward to spring break without any anxiety or fear of having to wear a dreaded swimsuit. Spring break is supposed to be a beach destination, which 99 out of 100 times requires a bathing suit.

We usually find ourselves planning to start dieting and working out months before the event. But, somehow, these plans always slip through the cracks and before we know it spring break is in a month. And then in a week. And your body? Still the same.

Crash dieting is something that many may attempt to do, but this never works out in the end. You’ll eventually end up breaking and eating everything in sight. Or, you’ll just feel sick all the time until you let yourself resume eating.

The chances of actually being completely comfortable and happy with your body are slim to none.

The only solution is to learn how to accept what your momma gave you and rock it. Nobody is going to care if you have big thighs or a soft tummy— everyone is there to just have fun, not judge. Being noticeably insecure is the perfect way to draw the wrong kind of attention.

Act confident and nobody will give a damn about your body.

Besides, who cares what anybody else thinks? Don’t let the opinions of others ruin your fun.

Learn to accept your body for all that it is and can do, and then have the time of your life.

Dear High School Friend Group,

My sweet angels, where would I be without you guys. We all grew up together because we either met in middle school or high school and watched each other grow up and get "old." We got to go to prom together and then graduate together. Then watched each other as we continued our lives in college, joining sororities and meeting people who will impact our lives forever. It all has happened so fast.

Oh college, we can’t live with you, but we can’t live without you. It’s a love/hate relationship, really. College is an experience that no one can ever prepare you for, and maybe that’s a good thing. You never really expect any of the things that college encompasses until you are there. College is fun, but don’t have too much fun. C’s get degrees, but they don’t get you into graduate school.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo
