There are a lot of things in this life that we can't change, and quite frankly, it takes an incredible amount of courage to accept that. Life runs its course on everyone at different ways, and at different points in their lives, which makes it seem as if one situation is worse than another. But everyone is walking through a different storm. It's how you deal with it that makes you inherently strong.
Growing up in the church, I have always believed that your faith can move mountains. And absolutely it can. I have see to many miracles to believe otherwise. However, growing up and walking through my storm semi-early in life, I also learned that my faith can create them. The mind is powerful. It works day in and day out, some days good, some days bad. But those bad days, the mind just takes a thought and runs with it. Snowballing out of control and thus creating your own mountain. Now what? You are supposed to use that same faith to tackle it? I don't think so. But what if we only focused on moving the mountains that we were given?
Now it's clear that I don't have all of the answers, because I am the QUEEN of overthinking and rarely stop at accepting the facts as they are. I always dive way deeper in than necessary. What if we handle things as they come? Life is sick, and twisted, and so many other things. But life is also beautiful, and magical - and if we spend all of our time creating our own mountains, then we block the view.
So breathe. Things might seem as if they are falling apart, but they aren't. You are strong and you can do hard things. Let your faith move the mountians.
