Now that finals are over we can all breathe a sigh of relief! Grades are in and the stress of the semester is over. Going from being constantly busy with school work straight into no school work at all can lead to boredom. Here is a list of fun activities to fill up your winter break between semesters!

1.Catch up on much needed sleep!

2. Have a movie marathon with friends.

3. Try out new Pinterest recipes that you have been dying to try, but never had the time to cook.

4. It's never too early to start spring cleaning!

5. Spend time visiting family and relatives that you haven't seen in a while.

6. Go on a mini road trip: explore your city or the surrounding towns.

7. Spend the day curled up with a good book.

8. Build a fort in your living room! You are NEVER too old to play inside of a pillow fort.

9. Build a puzzle! It is such a satisfying feeling when you finally complete it.

10. Go for a walk in a local park.

11. Spend the day thrift shopping with friends! One man's hand me down's are another man's treasure.

12. Make your own play-doh! Nobody is too old to showcase their play-doh sculpture skills.

13. Wash your car. Let's face it, your car probably got neglected during the semester.

14. Spend the day exploring local art exhibits or museums.

15. Spend your time volunteering at local food banks or homeless shelters.

16. Clean off your desk! Your desk was probably left a wreck in the midst of finals week.

17. Take a long relaxing bubble bath! It's great to treat yourself.

18. Have dinner in a restaurant that you have never tried before!

19. Get some chicken nuggets! Who doesn't love chicken nuggets?

20. Go to a weekend farmers market! You never know what you will find there.

21. Buy a plant and vow to take care of it and keep it alive!

22. Clean out your closet! Take this time to donate old clothes to charity.

23. Have a game night with your family and friends.

24. Tie Dye t-shirts, socks, bandannas, or other clothing items.

25. Pick a topic that interests you and do more research on it!

26. Learn to do magic tricks or card tricks. This will really impress your friends.

27. Spend the day birdwatching or looking at local wildlife at a nature park.

28. Throw your own dance party! All you need is an ipod and your dancing shoes!

29. Change the batteries in your smoke alarms! Safety first.

30. Learn a new language! It is never too late to learn to speak a new language.

31. Update your resume! This is a great time to better your professional resume.

32. Paint your nails! Get creative and try out new and unique nail designs.

33. Write a letter to a friend who lives in another state and mail it to them! Everyone loves getting surprise mail.

34. Try out new hairstyles!

35. Go bowling! Bowling is always a blast!
