Been down in the dumps recently? Looking for something to brighten your day while spicing up your life? Looking for a new Netflix show to watch?
Look no further, because here's your answer: "Queer Eye." The original "Queer Eye" aired from 2003 to 2007, featuring cast members Carson Kressley and Ted Allen. As this show ended, a new version of "Queer Eye" was launched in 2018. This show features cast members Tan France, Jonathan Van Ness, Antoni Porowski, Karamo Brown, and Bobby Berk. Each cast member has their own specialty, ranging from culinary to fashion, grooming to culture, and interior design. Known as the "Fab Five," these men come to surprise people with the makeover of a lifetime. Not only do these men make over their looks, they bring happiness and self-confidence to every person they visit. With a total of 17 episodes in one year, these men are unstoppable. When watching an episode, anticipate to laugh, cry, and fall in love with all five of the men. These men have others' lives and best interests in their hearts and it truly shows as they go about helping the nominated person in each episode. Not only do they help them with their food and looks, they really help them spiritually and mentally. They help mend relationships, help them move on from rocky pasts, and even help some come out and express how they feel to their family. Once the episode is over, each person also has a newfound level of confidence and pride in their new space, look, mindset, attitude, and cooking abilities.
