So, the topic of anime is very controversial. Most people turn to anime back in the 80s and 90s or they choose a specific genre of it. So what is it about anime that draws people in? Constant action, romance, supernatural powers? In my some odd years with anime, my opinion has changed from it just being recommendations to the fact that people are always drawn to certain anime. Action fans are usually drawn to anime like Attack on Titan, Naruto, Dragon Ball Z and Tokyo Goul. Romantic fans will go for, well I actually do not know. I do not really watch romantic anime to often, but there is something out there for them. Actually, there is an anime for everyone- Even if you do not know what anime is, there is an anime for you.

So, my anime, that got me started watching and finding new anime, is none other than Naruto. It is a great anime with romance, action and adventure. It follows two people, mostly, Naruto and Sasuke as they go through their lives. One goes down a road of friendship and love while the other goes down a path of darkness, hatred and vengeance. in the end, or the almost end, they both meet back up and become friends again. One goes on a journey to "cleanse his sins" and the other starts his journey to be hokage. (Hokage is the head of the hidden leaf village where these two live. It is weird but when you get into it, it becomes a new experience.)

As for romance anime do not really watch them, but anime that revolves around schools is my favorite. So, I guess my favorite is Another. it is an anime that revolves around a certain classroom in a Japanese city. This class has an extra person in it, and as long as that person remains alive someone will die. The way to reverse it is to either kill the person or ignore them completely. It is more of a gory anime and it is more for mature audiences but there is a little romance in it.

So as you can see, anime is weird but fascinates everyone. There are anime for younger, romantic, action, adventure, and sci-fi people. Knowing this, everyone should at least look into anime and try to watch it. Anime, music and art are the absolute reason for life. Nah, I am just joking. Well, for you guys and girls reading this article. For me, Music, anime and art ,in that order, are the meanings of life.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
