It is such a strange feeling turning your head from someone you would always turn to. You pass someone you have so much history with, yet surprisingly no future with also. Or you look through their social media and realize you are no longer a part of their recent activity. You always wonder what could have been.
Change is hard, no matter how you look at it. And removing a piece of your life that was so important for such a long time is a huge change. You spend so much time with them, you confide in them, and most importantly laugh with them. They become a part of you. You share so many memories over time, ones you will never forget. Especially ones you were able to capture in pictures. There will be days when all of the memories come back, let yourself feel them. It is okay to miss them. Some days it will be harder than other ones, but just like walking, you move forward one step at a time.
A best friend is someone who will consistently hold a place in your heart. They are going to be someone you always care for and love, despite how things ended. You may think you do not like them any more, but a part of you will always love them. But there comes a point where you are going to stop wondering what they are constantly doing. Their social media will become irrelevant to your daily activities. You are going to stop questioning what you could have done differently, and start realizing every thing happens the way it is supposed to. People grow up, change, and drift a part, but every person in your life is meant to be there. Every one you lose is not a loss.
