You lost her, the girl who would do anything for you.

You lost the one girl in the world who looked at you as if you were her world. Do you think that it was easy for her to walk away? She looked at you as if you could do no wrong.

You lost the girl with the pretty smile and kind eyes, willing to put you above everyone else. You could have called her at any time during the night and she would've genuinely cared.

You lost the girl who approached you with arms wide open, ready to take on the world alongside you. She opened her soul to you and let you in. But you decided that her soul was unable to intertwine with yours.

You lost the girl that you started to open up to, the one you started to feel toward. Feeling triggered a fight-or-flight response and you decided that running was the best option. You lost her when you jumped ship and decided that she wasn't enough.

You lost her when you thought that someone could love you more, when you realized that you wanted someone who was prettier, smarter, funnier than the girl who could give you the world.

You lost the girl who could do both. She could be the party on a Saturday night and the fuzzy blanket on Sunday afternoon. This girl was a diamond, but you decided that you would take your chances with coal.

You lost her when you decided that you would find someone who could give you the same things, when you decided that you didn't want to fight for her.

You lost her when she opened her eyes and realized that she deserved someone that would fight for her as hard as she would for them. She deserves someone who looks at her as if she is the stars and the moon and their entire world. She falls hard, but you lost her.

I hope to God that you are sure about your decision because, my friend, you lost her. To get her back now would be too late.

You lost the girl who would do anything for you.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
