Savannah, Georgia is without a doubt one of the coolest places to visit, and an even cooler place to live. With a rich history of cultures, Savannah is the ultimate destination for a beautifully historical experience. For those lucky enough to grow up in this awesome city, you've learned to love the city inside and out. So whether you've lived in Savannah the better part of your life or if you're a true "Savannian" (born and raised), Here's 25 things you know to be true as a Savannah local:

1. You use the words “Dude” and “Y’all” in the same sentence.

2. You can spot a tourist a mile away.

(Please stop walking through the cross-walk without looking.)

3. You’ve lived here long enough that you could give a tour of downtown.

4. The traffic on Abercorn Street ruins your plans.

5. You remember that it took FOREVER to finish the Truman Parkway.

(Praise The Lord it's done!)

6. It’s not about how close the parking spot is, it’s about if the parking spot is in the shade.

7. You have the best St. Patrick’s Day celebration in the nation, and the second largest parade.

(We're all Irish on the 17th of March)

8. What is snow?

9. Broughton Street and The Oglethorpe Mall are the best places to shop.

10. There’s no reason to go to Savannah Mall unless you want to go to Bass Pro Shop.

11. Our summers could probably make the devil break a sweat.

12. River Street is the ultimate tourist trap.

13. However, River Street Sweets makes the best pralines. Hands Down.

(And you're guilty of walking in the store just for the free sample.)

14. You’ve ran into Paula Deen or one of her family members at the store.

15. You actually think the marsh air smells good.

(Don't hate.)

16. Most of the private schools are associated with plaid skirts.

17. All buildings downtown have a ghost story.

18. You live in a city with the BEST seafood!

(Shout out to Tubby's Tank House and Fannie's On The Beach)

19. Half of the city streets shut down during the marathon.

(Seriously, just stay at home that day)

20. Oatland Island Wildlife Center is our hidden treasure.

21. You could get lost in Bonaventure Cemetery.

22. You think Spanish Moss is beautiful.

23. Tybee is where you can find the ultimate beach bums.

(There's even a parade for it)

24. You rarely go somewhere without seeing someone you know.

25. Coming here always feels like home.

(And it always will)

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
