Has anyone of you worked retail? No? Yes? Well, let me tell you a few problems that retail workers come into contact with.
1. Realizing that you have become trapped
There’s nothing sadder than realizing you’ve spent most of your life working at a job that was just meant to last you through college. Word of advice: Run. Save yourself.

2. You recognize every quirky regular shopper.
Every shop has their own certain type of regulars. But there comes a point in time where you can clearly distinguish a man always wearing baggy pants and an odd toupee.
3. The never-ending stragglers
A 15-minute warning is given for the closing of the store for the day. But what is that you see in the back corner of the store? People contemplating whether skinny jeans would look good on you or someone just clearly leaving a huge mess. Resulting in a later stay to clean up shop. As the wise YouTuber Miranda Sings always says, "Get out."
4. Fighting through the early-morning shoppers
Jeez Louise. You would think that a famous celebrity would be showing up at your store. From a distance, they all look like zombies in a zombie apocalypse. Then you get that irritated person who judges you by what time the store actually opens. Excuse me, it is the store's fault that we open the doors at that point in time.
5. Is there a way out?
No, sir and/or madame, there is not a way out. How do you think I came to work here? I simply gave up the hunt for an exit and asked for sanctuary.
Oh, retail. You have been a huge pain in my life, and it's still not over yet.
