Honestly, grocery stores are overwhelming. There is so much food, too many options, and it can be really hard to pick the best thing to eat. Since it’s summer, usually I find myself wandering up and down the frozen foods aisle, struggling to choose what three types of ice cream to force my mom to buy. Through dedication and hard work, I have spent the last few weeks, eating an ice bar or maybe a whole pint a day. Now, I have a list of the top ice cream options to pick up when you go the grocery store next:
I’m going to sort this by brand, to help you narrow down maybe what type of ice cream you are going for on the given day.
- Ben & Jerry’s: the best ice cream if you want a creamy, makes you smile and warms your heart, filling ice cream.
- Milk and Cookies
- Cinnamon Buns
- Phish Food
- Chunky Monkey
- Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
- New York Super Fudge Chunk
- Half Baked (it comes in a fro-yo option and I can’t tell the difference!!!)
- Talenti: amazing gelato and sorbets that can be packaged into a small pint
- Roman Raspberry
- Sea Salt Caramel
- Wild Blackberry
- Mediterranean Mint
- Caramel Cookie Crunch
- Double Dark Chocolate
- Yasso: incredible frozen yogurt bars that are usually only 100 calories!
- Chocolate chip cookie Dough
- Mint Chocolate Chip
- Sea Salt Caramel
- Häagen-Dazs: innovative ice cream with distinctive flavors
- Vanilla Swiss Almond
- Butter Pecan
- Dulce de Leche
- Caramel Cone
- Cookies n' Crème
- White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle
- Halo: this would the healthier option (high protein, low calories) if you are feeling like eating a full pint without having too many regrets
- Vanilla Bean
- Lemon Cake
- Chocolate
Honestly, looking back to the list I just compiled, I really didn’t set a list of top 10. But all of these options, you cannot go wrong with. With this, you can at least narrow it down and not regret getting some bad ice cream. Summer is the best time to eat ice cream, because honestly, during the summer I just treat it like any other meal, and I here and there substitute a pint with a dinner or lunch. So go out and treat yourself!!!
Shout out to Jen McIntosh for all of the help with the eating and narrowing down of brands!!!
