You Have To Get Rid Of The Bad For The Good To Come

God wants the best for you; Are you ready for him to take over?

I believe there comes a point in all our lives when we realize that not every person who comes into our lives is going to have positive effects on us. Their negative presence can start to change how we think and act. However, when God sends those “right” people, you can’t imagine life without them.

“Do not be misled: 'Bad company corrupts good character.'” 1 Corinthians 15:33

God has a way of sending people in your life that not only love you but encourage and support you. They are those people who only want the best for you. God wants the best for you. He loves you. So, do not settle for bad friends, bad love, or bad vibes.

“When Job’s three friends, Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite, heard about all the troubles that had come upon him, they set out from their homes and met together by agreement to go and sympathize with him and comfort him.” Job 2:11

Those “right” people God sends, are there for you even when you do not know you need them there. They listen to you and offer you positive feedback and love. Your friends shouldn’t judge you or make you feel bad about a decision.

“Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.” Ephesians 4:29

The last two years God has blessed me with amazing friends. I had to take a look at my life and see the toxic people that were in it and ask God to get rid of them. Once you can identify the people, you can allow God to fill it with the “right” people. God ultimately wants the best for you. He loves you. You deserve people who love you and support you. Don’t Settle!

“The righteous choose their friends carefully, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.” Proverbs 12:26

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
